They've filmed a pilot, but no date for a launch yet. The one of Putin is amazing.
This was one of my favourite shows back in the day, so I hope they go ahead and make a new series.

a half hour on a Sunday night, they could do a 2 hour one now, a Christmas Special could last us all Christmas apart from a Morcambe & Wise repeat.

Looking forward to it. Wasn't a huge fan of the original, but it certainly had its moments.
Which politician was the slug?

It was Kenneth Baker I think, and he didn't like it!
I'd love to see one of Gove.

Spitting Image
I don't think it will work these days.
Comedy shows in the UK have been dumbed down so much over the last 20 years that it's not really worth having comedy on the television.
Notable exceptions are The Thick of It, Peep Show , I.T Crowd, Inbetweeners (which I've never watched), Miranda etc.
I loved the days of Rising Damp, Only When I Laugh, The Cuckoo Waltz, Robin's Nest, Man About the House, George and Mildred and many others. So many classics.
