Flu Jab
I don't bother with it. A few years ago I explicitly told my doctor's surgery to stop harassing me about having one.
I just don't find it necessary.

Your surgery are paid for each patient they see daily too, maybe you shouldn't go to the doctor either.
Flu jabs save 1000's of lives each other through protection & herd immunity preventing others from contracting the illness.
People forget it can be deadly esp to those with compromised immune systems.

Too darned right! I have had enough needles stuck in me this year, I'm beginning to feel like a voodoo doll! It is one of those nurses at the NHS - the one with a wicked gleam in her eye.

Given your propensity for sewing women's lips up, I wouldn't have thought that needles bothered you.

Don't you have a problem repeating this sort of thing ?
Its beneath contempt,
if you feel "he" does then go straight to the police and give them his details he will be found.

Be fair! I am the one on the end of the pain to which I object strongly!
Interesting! Most British people understand the British language well, but there are some who don't. Here are some British idioms.
The manager axed him! Meaning the manager sacked him!
An Eye for an eye - Bible (Even!) Meaning do the same thing in return.
If thine eye offend ye, pluck it out - Bible. Meaning that if you find something offensive, don't let it bother you, look away.
Pope Francis has accused his critics of stabbing him in the back, and said he is "not afraid" of the Catholic Church splitting.Speaking after a trip to Africa, the Pope took issue with conservative clergymen who have criticised him
Toodles
Said is banned, albeit temporarily, for wanting to murder women after sewing their mouths shut. He's obviously racist, misogynistic and homophobic. I'm not going to back down from a psychopath like that. Nor will I temper my language when he's throwing around death threats.
Like Said, you seem to think that the murder of a woman, and the death threats and rape threats to women and children, aren't something to be concerned about. Or to use your words 'a statistical insignificance'. You don't think that is worthy of the description 'crank'? 'Crank' is almost a compliment considering the subject matter. But it does suit you.
Avaler des couleuvres does not apply to me, Toodles!
'Should be shot' meaning should be stopped
'Have her mouth sewn up' meaning she should be silenced.

Long, long overdue. This is an obscenity. It is a further abuse of the victim. How on earth does the poor woman move on from this?
He shouldn't be alive, never mind have any rights whatsoever.
MMmh! Interesting! Is that what is termed hypocracy, Jerry Joyboy?

Oh please! Quit the faux outrage. What is beneath contempt, is saying that a woman's lips should be sewn up. And yet there was no great display of outrage from you then. You were too busy trying to place the blame for the subsequent action on someone's shoulders.

I never used to get a flu shot when I was younger. However once I hit 65 I decided it was wiser to have one. When you're younger you're more able to fight the nasties off. Flu can be very dangerous for older people, and the young also. Why take a chance?
Flu shots are free for everyone here. I don't care if doctors or drug stores get paid to administer the shots. Doesn't everyone expect to get paid for the job they do?
EDIT.... forgot to mention I've never had side effects or ended up with the flu. However it's still possible to get the flu if they don't base the vaccine on the predominant strain of flu that we end up getting,
