Yet another one of the decorative seats on Chapel Street has been destroyed by a careless delivery driver this morning.
The seat has been smashed in several places after the driver backed into it.
It is not known if the driver reported the accident.

Just scrap the pedestrianisation of Chapel St. Its killed anything left of footfall, business trade etc. It's made the town look like every other "Boring".
Dig up the Chinese made flags and get a bit of life down there cars, buses taxis whatever before the brushwood starts rolling down

You never cease to me amaze me.
I don’t know if your just posting click bait or if you really are completely nuts?
Genius plan! Let’s increase pollution levels in the town centre, encourage people to use their car more often instead of less, make the shopping experience more dangerous and noisy, and for the cherry on top, let’s rip up the attractive paving.
It’s sure to bring them flocking in.
Edit-I think you mean tumbleweed starts rolling down.

Well as petrol and diesel cars will evidently be phased out by 2035 no problem with pollution there then. Attractive paving its such poor quality in the first place, agree the replacement of knackered flags has somewhat abated, unless bleedin delivery drivers destroy what is left hence the post. I'v spoken to many a person either face to face or social media who think this was a bad idea, and no I'm not going to provide evidence of that as you seem to require most times.
I didn't know though you were a Doctor specialising in mental health LOL
I'll give you tumble weed though shows you do read posts occasionally
