Should the Flag be Flown?
Councils have received instructions from the Government to 'Fly the Flag' to celebrate Prince Andrews 60th Birthday on February 19th.
Liverpool City Council have said they won't.

No. No. And no.
He's a disgrace to a family I'm none too keen on in the first place. Taking a week to say 'Au revoir' to a convicted paedo. Not assisting in criminal investigations. And lying through his teeth.
And now another witness has come forward saying he was in the nightclub dancing with one of the victims.
That he isn't an outcast from the Royals is a sickening indictment on the lot of them. No wonder Harry wants out. I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but when they close ranks like this, you wonder what else has been covered up.
*cough* Diana *cough*

Is this all the government have to think about? The Queen doesn't want any public celebration with the unanswered questions still around, just why do the bloody Tories have to be such crawlers?

9 March: Commonwealth Day (second Monday in March)
17 March: St. Patrick's Day: (in Northern Ireland only)
21 April: Birthday of Her Majesty the Queen
23 April: St George's Day (in England only)
2 June: Coronation Day
13 June: Official celebration of Her Majesty's birthday
10 June: Birthday of the Duke of Edinburgh
21 June: Birthday of the Duke of Cambridge
17 July: Birthday of the Duchess of Cornwall
15 August: Birthday of the Princess Royal
8 November: Remembrance Day (second Sunday in November)

Not bothered personally either way - have any of the other Royals had a flag flying on their Birthdays? If they have, then it would mean little to anyone. Even Hitler had flags flying for him - all the time!

A poor example, the flags were flown for Hitler because they had to, is that what we are down to?

Get real Silver Fox !
Its an updated 2020 list of ALL the dates for councils to fly the Union Flag on, for Government buildings.
Its the press that have picked up on the Feb 19th date to cause a fuss and you and others have fallen hook, line and sinker for their game.
Councils have not been specifically asked to fly the flag on Feb 19th only!

I know it's a list, but the report reads that councils are instructed to fly the flag, if it's a government building OK, but if it's a council owned building then the government can request, they can't tell.

I note the government has now withdrawn the INSTRUCTION to fly the flag for Air Miles birthday as he has withdrawn from Royal duties.
Right result.

Couldn't the flag be flown "inadvertently" upside down an accepted insult.
