Where is the best Pie ???
This week is National Pie Week where does the best Pie come from?
https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.u...ires-best-pie/
I have a liking for the Pork Pies from Stanforths in Skipton
https://www.stanforthbutchers.co.uk/
I've also heard good words about some nearer to home but not tried yet.
https://www.gallowaysbakers.co.uk/
https://www.bowenpies.co.uk/
Any recommendations and which to avoid?

Satterthwaites Bakehouse, Coronation Rd, Crosby.
They do a tub of authentic scouse and buttered barm for about £3.50.
Ye Olde Pastie Shoppe, Churchgate, Bolton.
Best pasties ever....Lunchtimes, you'll need to join the queue outside to get in!

All of Lathoms pies are a load of crap and expensive for what you get. I know it comes down to personal taste but thought i would air my opinion anyway.

Any ideas where I can get a cheese and onion pasty/ pie without a load of ( usually under cooked) potato.
