Banks bad news
In the libel case Arron Banks brought against Carol Cadwalladr he has been defeated. She claimed he had financial help from Russia to help with his Brexit campaign.
Banks threw crazy amounts of money at the campaign. I had first hand experience of that.
He also funded Farage, providing him with money, a house and a car even though at the time he was still an MEP, a responsibility he never regarded seriously. It would be interesting to see if Farage himself is now the subject of inquiry.

You had better read the judgment through, yet again you prostrate your ignorance across these pages with so little thought.
No proof whatsoever of wrongdoing was produced by Carol Cadwalladr at any time.
n her "Ted Talk", Cadwalladr, a freelance journalist who provided material for the Guardian and Observer newspapers, said: "I am not even going to get into the lies that Arron Banks has told about his covert relationship with the Russian government."
She later apologised to Banks saying she accepted it was untrue to say he had told "untruths about a secret relationship he had with the Russian government" about accepting foreign money to fund an electoral campaign in breach of the law.
Maybe someone will explain the judgment to you and her defence.
Although I do remember your confusion over unlawful so it maybe an uphill struggle explaining it to you.

A technical breach it appears but certainly nothing to consume the nation with for months.
Happily condemn my new manlove beloved for a whole list of important things.
The Covid breaches were bad enough, but his snivelling denials and pathetic apology were the real issue, then of course in true Johnson fashion tries to blame everyone else for him being an ***.

So yet another spectacular own goal from the Tories.
They put out a tweet saying Starmer voted to "block Brexit" 48 times.
Except he didn't. Like the rest of the (Remainer majority) house he voted for the withdrawal, as required by the referendum.
His votes were to block various leaving deals that he thought didn't work.
Never mind, it's a lie faithfully perpetuated by you know who on here.
And then when you have a good look, you find that Johnson also voted to block Brexit votes. But in his case largely to make life difficult for Theresa May.
Poor old Theresa. She really wasn't much good, but the shambles created afterwards by those who dumped her makes her look statesmanlike by comparison.

Tory twitter is raging.
Seems Starmer has stolen their toy, and they really do not like it.
Very funny.

Aah sweet jumping to the duplicitous liar's defence when he has stabbed you most clearly in the back and front for good measure.
He might as well join the ERG and go the whole hog.
He's joined Farage and Jacob Rees Mogg in the hard Brexit camp.
The mind boggles how he thinks he will get away with it.
He led the ****** up of the country for years campaigning to tear up peoples votes and obstruct our negotiation and withdrawal from the EU.
Now he is looking for mugs to trust his complete volte face.
The most barefaced say anything to get elected tosh in living memory.
At this rate Nicola Sturgeon will be campaigning to stay in the United Kingdom.
Boris must be laughing his socks off, christ he's lucky.

Football is dear isn't it?
Doesn't really matter about Starmer the Brexidiot no one with a conscience will vote for him anyway.
He makes Boris appear principled.
He might as well go to the match.

It has been enjoyable political theatre. Especially when the number of resignations started rocketing. As one chap noted, if I had a quid for every resignation, I could afford a tub of Lurpak.
I'm looking forward to the prospect of Bunter being ignominiously booted from Number 10 if Starmer's no confidence vote bears fruit.
Or seeing how the entitled twunt tries to wriggle round it.
It's a hoot.
