The disabled/elderly and anyone else with problems can suffer whilst the complete imbeciles strip the shops. It is getting to the stage where these clowns deserve naming and shaming not that you could shame a moron.

This only appears to be happening in the local large supermarkets - I went to Booths, there was no problems. The customers here seem to have been far more responsible. Is it because it is an upmarket store?
I am very surprised that the media have been allowed to create this panic - even the most level headed person would have difficulty in following factual news. If I went on social media and targeted a certain group of people, telling them repeatedly that there is a dire threat aimed at them - I would get done for hate speech!

I wouldn't dream of ordering groceries online, it may be ok for things like tins of beans and toilet rolls but anything that is fresh, chilled or has a shorter life span is a no no. some of the meat on display in the fridges I wouldn't feed to the cat.

Neither would I but if work curtails the panic buying then they resort to getting someone to do their shopping for them whilst at work, after their weekend visits to every local supermarket I suppose, hence the delivery problems.
I heard someone telling anyone who wanted to hear "I have irritable bowel so I am stockpiling toilet rolls". Irritable it must be downright incandescent with rage to fill your house with bog roll.

This is from another messageboard I go on. I couldn't have said it better myself:
There is obviously a robotic, docile herd out there, no ability perceive any sense of anything but their own blinkered sense of greed and definitely no idea of community spirit. It is these greedy ******** who are so insular and small minded. They are barely human.
Same type that queue for 5p off petrol or diesel, but drive ten miles to get the bargain price. Same species that would shove someone out of the way to get their grubby, unwashed mitts on the last loaf. And sadly, this lot will prevail.

I went in there yesterday and it was quite civilised - they even had toilet rolls!
It's better to go as early as you can. I didn't realise, but they open at 7am and it's deserted.

Myself and my two disabled children are in isolation due to myself and one of my boys being on the at risk list. It is not easy getting any shopping delivered. I do have a shop coming today but not sure if it will have what my boys need. They both have very restricted diets so once we run out it will mean the youngest at least won't eat. I have tried to book another shop but no slots available.
I hate the selfish people who are preventing others getting what they need when they cannot go out due to self isolation.
It's time the shops and the local authority did something about this or we will see people going hungry.

This is because the pyjama and curler brigade prefer the squalor of Asda.
