My neighbour is 85 and obviously in a high risk group.
He has just walked to the newsagent to collect his paper which (he called out to me) they hadn't delivered.
He has TV and the internet - talk about a totally unnecessary journey!

Some really ill thought criticism on here, the general instruction is clear and unambiguous clearly expecting idiots to work out what is essential is expecting too much of them.

But it is expecting too much. That's the point of the criticism on here.

Yes, you're right - people just are not paying attention.
When the PM says ' STAY IN YOUR HOME'
He means YOU! Not everyone else !
Today there has been a steady stream of traffic into town.
I know people have to shop, walk & exercise...but it looks like business as usual out there.
Seen quite a few senior citizens wandering into town, they're not listening!
Groups of men strolling around and street drinkers/snack heads walking around- no social distancing there! I can hardly see some of this lot washing their hands for 20seconds!!!
It's the people who have to risk their lives to try to save these selfish idiots ( if they get it) who think that all this fuss doesn't concern them.
The families of health teams, doctors, nurses & all hospital staff are deeply concerned for their loved ones.
I think we need someone with a megaphone driving around the streets saying 'stay in your homes' !!!
Stay safe everyone, do as you are told and we might just get through this xx
Much respect to our NHS staff for passionately doing the job that most of us couldn't xx
