…..obviously not !
I was on a trip to Morrisons, and saw all the cars parked up by Pontins etc, also on the Coast Rd, a group of 3 lycra clad cyclists (on the road not the cycle track) a couple of lads walking with golf bags on their shoulders, at the back of the golf course, and whilst in the short queue to enter Morrisons, groups of youths wandering around !

I believe, according to Facebook - a guy was stopped in town by a couple and the woman asked him if there was any pubs open - she said that they had travelled to Southport because it was a resort, and thought there might be somewhere to get a drink here, as all the pubs were closed where she lived.
I was working in my garden and saw loads of people and families heading into town. Somehow, I don't think the lock down is working.

It's impossible to close a beach to pedestrians.

It is also unfair.
Better to ask people who do use the beach or outdoor spaces for exercise to keep moving to allow everyone to self distance.

Surprising how different folk interpret the word 'exercise'.....Other day I cycled past a couple of blokes sat motionless fishing by the canal!

No some are just plain thick in the head, there’s nothing you can do about it they just haven’t got the capacity up there .
I hope you both are properly self isolating and stay well

Where do all these idiots come from?
Certainly our neighbourhood must have the cleanest cars, tidiest gardens, best exercised dogs, very little movement out and about, thought for today, wonder if long hair and bushy sideburns will become fashionable for men once again.
