I have a 10-year old grandchild (Norwegian speaking) who is learning English at school. I asked him to read your sentence and he automatically corrected your to you're. 10 years oldl!!!!!
Degsy,
It's a forum for a general exchange of views from people of all backgrounds.
I don't feel the need to critique peoples punctuation as it might put people off posting who don't feel they want "marking" particularly as in your case when it's often sadly the only contribution you make,
Loco.

You don't like what the government has to say about driving, go tell them about it instead if getting arsey on forums. Click on the link I provided and give them the 'if if if' rant. I don't care. It's got nothing to do with me whatsoever. Don't ask questions if you're going to start throwing your toys out over the answer. 'If if if...'.
Drive your car to the ******* moon and back, it still won't change the official rules, and I still won't give a toss.
Now 'said' is on about 'secret climate change events'. Which don't exist. WTF has that got to do with 'socialism'? What has that got to do with 'we are all equal'? What has ANYTHING I've written on this thread got to do with socialism, politics or any other subject, apart from this lockdown?
Do enlighten me, because I'm missing something here.
Careful you are getting angry again.

Still not explaining how 'socialism' enters into anything?
I'm not angry. Puzzled how you came to post what you have.
It's really simple, as far as I am concerned. You posted the question:

To answer, I copied and pasted the government advice. I didn't post an opinion. I didn't pluck it out of thin air. You asked a question, I tried to answer.
The reasonable and polite reaction would have been to say 'thanks for that', then by all means go on with a rant against the government, RAC, DoT, Boris Johnson, Uncle Tom Cobley, or whoever it is has come up with these regulations. Not go on a rant to me about 'ifs' and 'testicles'.
You don't understand that? Not my problem. You carry on ranting on about socialism and testicles. Hardly encourages conversation, nor I assume, motivate anyone else to try and answer any questions you may put to the forum.

I know of a few here that have linguistic problems. Some have openly stated that that is the situation they face. I have never "critiqued" them or corrected them, to the best of my knowledge. Your choice of words, however, indicates that you don't have such a problem. You are, it would seem, just lazy and can't be bothered to read what you write, correct it, add a comma or two, or something like that, before you hit the submit key. So unless you advise me otherwise, I will continue to help others read what you write by indicating that the punctuation is scant, or absent. You have to accept that, Pub. This is a forum for a general exchange of views from people of all backgrounds. I am one of those!
