PCSO 0240 has covered 24 miles on cycle patrol, from the Marine Lake to Marshside, Crossens and Churchtown, monitoring the area for compliance with the Covid-19 instructions and responding to some other issues that have been raised to us.
Glad to report that the vast majority of people are following the advice and no one needed to be spoken to with any advice today.
On his route he came across this fabulous rainbow, that Alannah and Aston had just finished drawing. More than ever, we are truly "in it together" in the current situation. Great job Alannah and Aston.

He certainly didn't cycle near our house in Marshside.Had he have done so he would have seen our surrounding neighbours receiving visitors in their homes, taking their dogs out for walks several times a day, including in their cars and having get togethers in the garden!!!! Probably the same people that emptied the supermarket shelves of toilet rolls and pasta.Either ignorant and arrogant or they dont have a TV to keep up with the rest of the planet. And yes,we have reported some of this behaviour to the police over the weekend but was told that they could only ask people to leave the property but at that time couldn't do much about it other than appeal to individuals compliance to follow Government guide lines.Interesting though that they didnt even do that!!!!
