Pleasureland
Obviously the fairground remains closed but how on earth are they getting away with the car park still being used as a camp site for camper vans?
And who are the numbskulls deciding to take a camping holiday during a period of no unnecessary travel?

I thought that the other caravan site had been closed and the Police had sent all caravanners and motor home owners back to their own homes. It does seem to be rather odd under the present circumstances - does Mr. Wallis know about these?
The Caravan Club closed its sites on Mar 22nd
During these unprecedented and difficult times, we’ve been concentrating our efforts on ensuring the wellbeing of our members and staff. As a result, the Club closed the UK site network, including Certificated Locations, on Sunday 22 March, in line with Government recommendations.

There are people who live full-time in a motor home so they are home and as it doesn't vanish they have to park it somewhere.

But is the site registered for full time residential use? Very few are (mainly to deter travellers) and if you do find one, you will be required to pay council tax.
To get around this, most have a 9 or 10 month maximum stay.

As previously posted the Caravan Club have shut down their sites so what residential sites are available to full time motor home dwellers to stay. And if this state of affairs is still going on in 9 or 10 months I doubt very much that anyone will give a toss about anything only getting free from house or motorhome arrest.
As I pointed out that is their home they can't make unnecessary journeys so they have to park somewhere they can't just vanish into thin air. What do you suggest.

It is a tricky situation. Some people, travellers and others, live in their campers full time. I don't suppose there's anywhere for them to go right now.
There was one hell of an outcry when people started driving off to Scotland to park up for the duration. Understandably. So I don't really know what they can do but to stay put for now.

If that's the case then fair enough.

My dog goes absolutely mental when we walk near the zebra-painted motor home that's been on the Pleasureland car-park for well over a week, and it's not the first time the dog has seen a zebra and lost her mind, you should of seen her watching Planet Earth.2 when the male Zebras where fighting for dominance, she pooed on the floor in protest.
It's become so bad that I try to hide the shopping from her because god forbid she should see a bar-code!
(It's okay, we have laminate flooring and a JML mop )

I was under the impression dogs could not see television as humans can. Something to do with lines or pixels ? What i do know is if my dog is in back yard and hears another dog in the neighbourhood barking he barks back. But if im watching television and a dog on the television barks he is totally indifferent to the noise. Maybe his hearing can can tell the difference.

The guy in the blue yellow and black van in the corner is Bill Butterworth who used to work at Bates dairy as well as caretaker at Larkfield school I think.
He had a house that came with the job so lost that when he retired.
So he bought the Wombat as he calls it. Been all over Spain in it.It is his home.
Bill and the other handful of campers have been given special permission to stay on Pleasureland site till further notice

No - The fairground car park isn't it? The one with barriers normally across it, behind where the old Lifeboat Station was.
