I'm turned 80 in April and would rather be 30 years younger, but being old doesnt really bother me . I exercise every day and that isn't just a walk . I cycle 3/4 days a week . When lm not cycling I enjoy a round of golf . I enjoy a glass of red or maybe two.
Being old doesnt mean you should stop living, and the more ac tive you can be the more alert you are .
Unfortunately there are people who cannot be as active as the would wish so they have to do what thier health allows then to do .
Life is for living so enjoy it . And to those who are unable to, God bless you and keep your hin up .
REST IN PEACE THE 96.

I don't enjoy being old but that is beyond my control, I'm with Chas on this my body may be 3 score years and 10 with some new joints added but in my head I'm somewhere between 20 and 30 at times. The one thing I do regret is that due to the wear and tear and balance issues I sold my bikes Road and Track so I can't take our cycling expert for a proper training run unlike his all day amble to Parbold. We'd be over to Gisburn for lunch then back through the "Trough" in the time he took.

Lol. Last time out I made as far as Red Rock, before returning home via Wigan.........Btw, if I was half my present age, I'd take you up on that visit to Bowland.
