It is a bit useless trying to find a vaccine for this year's outbreak - because the next virus will be different and any vaccine discovered now, will be useless for the next virus.
Is it still flu ?

I am not having any vaccinations - I remember reading up on Polio and MMR. There will also have to be alternative vaccinations for Muslims, Vegetarians and Vegans too.
They haven't been infecting any humans, medical ethics do not permit it unless there is a cure which there isn't.
Please enlighten us over the need for alternative vaccines for Muslims, Vegetarians and Vegans, is it something to do with the virus recognising the religion or the lack of meat, perhaps pork in the diet, or pehaps it's the level of meat in the normal white man's diet that necessitates a different vaccine, is one better than the other?
Please do enlighten us many of are keen to enhance our knowledge, after all we are being denied the full story, is it to do with 5G 4G or the GG's?

Anyone can contract Covid-19, but people with some underlying conditions are more susceptible to severe symptoms and death. Are you saying that these are the people they selected? I'm sure that they were overwhelmed with volunteers for the alleged trial!

An anti-vaxer. Quelle surprise!
I remember from my childhood the number of people who caught polio. There were two girls in my (very small) class at primary school. I guess if you've never seen what polio does to someone, you can kid yourself that polio vaccine isn't a good thing.
Anti-vaxers are responsible for the return of diseases that were conquered years ago. Making other people's children sick, and a lot worse than that. If you want to go back to the dark ages, there are several countries that are still in them. Perhaps you would prefer to live in one of them? The great majority of parents in the UK would be eternally grateful.

Anti-vaccers are essentially free-loaders nowadays. They get away with it because of the herd immunity produced by the many who have immunity due to vaccination.

With millions given by the British government to develop this, and more than a billion put in by the Americans, I really think these boffins should try harder!
I would not hold your breath - you may well go down in history as another victim of C19!

Please Yourself! There are many people who are allergic to the vaccinations and others who cannot have it on religious grounds anyway.
'Herd' is a politician's term for the population of people, which I find rather insulting, since the term has always referred to animals.

If it looks like flu, acts like flu, is treated like flu, has the same recovery rate as flu - then as far as I am concerned - it is bloody flu.

No, Said. The term 'herd immunity' is not something dreamt up by poiticians. It was coined by microbiologist Topley around 1923. I don't recall his first name. It'a a well-established concept regarding how to deal with infectious diseases that afflict humanity regardless of which direction they choose to face when praying.

A deal has been done with an Indian company in Pune , so that a billion vaccines will be ready by the end of the year ,and two billion shots will be in surgeries and pharmacies the following year. Bye, bye Covid-19.

So it looks like we'll be rolling our sleeves up in October.
Let's hope they make it compulsory and then we can get back to living normally.
Come on Said, you only die once.

I think I'll be some way back down the queue and wait to see if it works and what side effects arise.
