He shouldn't have had all those kids if he can't afford them.
Scrounger. Why should us taxpayers support them?
Sometimes people let themselves down - if Boris or, another privileged male, made similar comments about '****less benefit scroungers' - the howls of derision would be deafening .

Don't have kids if you can't afford them.
It is different for a PM.The children cannot stay in the family home.
Security and safety for the family is an added burden.
I have never said people shouldn't have kids if they can't afford them.
1.It may be a cultural/religious reason.
2.People do not plan to be poor
3.It is not fair to punish the children for the parents chioces.
4.Parents on benefits have children.

Come on Hamble, he wanted the position, don’t tell us he didn’t know the salary, the housing, the perks and the downsides before hand.

Ok...though still I am puzzled.
BoJo is not claiming or asking for state subsidy.
And I am sure he accepts that people with no job or savings should still have the right to as many children as they want and remain poor and state aided?

You appear to believe that despite no evidence to support it and plenty that suggests the opposite.

Quite right. The real story was published months ago.
"Prime Minister Boris Johnson has revealed that he’s struggling to make ends meet ever since his boss put him on a zero-hours contract.
Johnson is now only paid whenever Dominic Cummings calls him in the morning to come into work, something that doesn’t happen very often.
‘He only calls when he needs me in for something routine like PMQs, so I’m only getting a couple of hours of work a week at the moment. It’s not enough for me to survive on, even though I’m getting free lodgings at the moment. Someone really needs to do something about these zero-hour contracts, they’re not on,’ said the Prime Minister.
But Cummings has defended the move, calling it a more economical way of running the country.
‘I don’t need an employee like Boris getting under my feet all the time when I’m trying to make important decisions. He has his uses, there just aren’t many of them.’
The switch to a zero-hours contract could explain why Prime Minister Johnson hasn’t been seen in public lately."

People who earn more money tend to spend more money, have higher outgoings, etc. People often build lifestyles commensurate with their income.
How much is he paying out in spousal maintenance? How much is he paying to support his children? What percentages re net income are involved?
Whether this Prime Minister is worth £150,000 per annum is one thing, but that's not a big salary for the job.
People at a broad range on the income scale can experience money and cashflow difficulties and indeed debt.
Despite the take on this thread, people who are perceived as privileged can nevertheless experience real problems.
