Sadly some will believe this sort of BS, looking through US sites particularly, the Trumpist supporters are becoming hysterical in their idiotic false claims.
"The General Services Administration is tasked with formally recognising Biden as president-elect, which begins the transition. But the agency's Trump-appointed administrator, Emily Murphy, has not started the process and has given no guidance on when she will do so. ... But that process can't begin in full until the GSA recognises Biden as president-elect. The definition of what constitutes a clear election winner for the GSA is legally murky, making next steps unclear, especially in the short term"The Tribune

Thank you for the information - I have little knowledge of the American elections organisation. As you say - there is one mentioned person on the Review Team.

We all know the Trumpists are using every delaying tactic they can, but no matter what all the nodding dogs and servile lackeys, that Trump put in place, will very shortly be out of work and would imagine their employment prospects will not be the greatest.

Let's hope that was just some diplomatic hyperbole.
China's influence on the world is far more dangerous than Russia ever could be.
One of Trump's few good points was that he stood up to them.
The worrying thought that Chinas dirty tricks department swayed the election shouldn't be discounted.
I replied to this comment earlier, but it seems to have evaporated into the ether.
Before you worried your pretty little head about what Biden was up to in China, perhaps you should have checked out the purpose of his visit, and what he accomplished.
Were you equally worried when Trump entertained his good friend Xi at Mar-a-Lago? They had quite the bromance going on there, culminating in a feeding orgy involving the 'best chocolate cake in the world'
This is what Biden was discussing with Xi during his 2013 trip. By my reckoning he did well to accomplish it in 2 hours:
'In 2013, Biden, then the vice president, flew to Beijing after China announced that all aircraft flying over the East China Sea would have to seek permission from Beijing.
"He didn't holler and bluster," said Jake Sullivan, who was in the room as Biden's national security adviser at the time.
"He just very calmly, firmly, directly said to Xi Jinping: 'So I heard you guys did this. We are not going to honor it. We are not going to respect it. In fact, we're going to fly our own military aircraft through it without complying.'"
Hours later, in the same visit to Beijing, Biden proposed cooperating with China to tackle climate change, said Sullivan, now an adviser to Biden's presidential campaign. The two agreed that the U.S. and China should work together on climate, and that helped lay the groundwork for a bilateral deal and eventually the 2015 Paris climate accords, he said.
"That meeting is an encapsulation of the way that Joe Biden looks at this, which is there is no reason to think we can't be tough, direct, decisive and engage with our allies to push back on China in a range of different areas and also work with them where it's in our interest," Sullivan said.'

If you believed the media, you would have been informed that Trump had lost many votes. This is not correct - Trump increased his votes by a million voters. The election turnout in 2016 was 55.7%, the election turnout this year was claimed to be 72% - a massive increase, which equaled the voter turn out in the UK over Brexit?? Why a sudden interest - considering Biden's past history according to Wikipedia is far from spectacular?
Thank you for the compliment but it would be very inaccurate and unfair to claim I post unsubstantiated drivel on this site alone - everyone of you does exactly the same but to a greater degree!

If you believed the media, or even bothered to read it, you would see that they reported that in 2020 Trump gained 10.1 million votes, not the paltry 1 million votes you claim he gained.
Biden had 12.6 million votes more than Clinton in 2016.
From the lefty NYT, one of the few 'real' papers with real investigative journalists. Well respected and always credible... try it sometime.

I spent considerable time going through this thread to delete all of the off topic comments re. Local's grammar, along with any responses. I must have missed that one.
We all know that Local's comments can sometimes be sloppy. This isn't due to ignorance, but from an aversion to previewing his comments before submitting them. It's something I often do to pick up the damned predictive text errors we don't always notice when typing a response.
However if Local prefers not to do this, he's perfectly entitled to do so. Pointing it out whenever he makes an error, which usually initiates a response, makes reading through the thread tedious when members have to scroll through these posts to find posts discussing the thread topic, particularly on a large, very active and interesting thread like this.

In short, Local can do what I wants but I have to stop? OK!

Didn't know whether to bother replying to this drivel, but here goes.
No-one worthy of note said that trump LOST votes, but some Trumpist, who clearly has a problem with simple maths, was complaining that Trump's lead in certain counts was lost, obviously the fact that more votes for Biden had then been counted than votes for Trump.
Subsequently some even less well versed Trumpists then translated that into Trump mysteriously lost votes, we all know that he didn't lose votes, he just didn't get as many as Biden.
I didn't say that you posted drivel on this site alone, I said you are the biggest poster of unsubstantiated drivel on this site, the majority of poster on here either post something as an opinion, or if it's a statement of fact it will be something they know or have clear evidence of, it will not be third hand revelations from some dodgy conspiracy site.

I am not personalising it. As you're well aware, Local and I hardly have a warm relationship.
In short, members can make grammatical errors without others commenting on every mistake they make.

This a completely different kettle of fish to your ill-considered diatribe on Trump.
If you could set the same even tone for him that would be great he is after all on the way out and not worth the effort if he ever has been!
