Wifey and myself over last week pigged out on Marcella and The Bay. Latest offerings. Quite good but crap endings. Probably so able to continue in a further series. Just into episode 3 of The Serpent. Found episode 1 hard work but worth sticking with .

Yes, quite gripping, but dislike the “ ..three months earlier”, followed by “ six months earlier” etc. Just tell the story !

Yesterday I watched all 8 episodes ( season 1 ) of a sky production called zero zero zero ( until 4 this morning ). I hope the next season comes out soon it’s well worth a watch.

The 1st series with Jodie Whittaker (Broadchurch and Dr Who) was excellent but the 2nd series without her is quite different and disappointing...so far.

Just finished Afterlife ( Ricky Gervais ) was brilliant, I also like Mr Inbetween and Upright ( Tim minchin ).
I only got Netflix last week so it’s all new to me, last night I tried to watch the wire for the very first time as I had heard it was really good, I watched the first two episodes of it and thought it was tripe. The best film I have seen this year is my life as a courgette / zucchini

You can get this in English but I think you take it in more reading the subtitles

Just finished two series on terrestrial TV.
One was 'Finding Alice' on ITV, which was OK, but a very odd ending, obviously leaving it open to a second series.
Second was 'It's A Sin'. Finally got round to bingeing it. Quite brilliant. Then Russell T Davies is a great writer. Shocking how ignorant we were back in the 80s / 90s. Thoroughly recommended, but not one to watch with your kids / parents

I don't often binge watch dramas, I watched the 1st episode of It's a Sin and watched over 2 nights. It is superb, it is heartbreaking, brilliantly written, brilliantly acted, I laughed, I cried. It is also shocking, how attitudes have changed over the decades.

It was superb. When they were locking patients away, I just broke down. I know we didn't know any better back then, but my goodness it was a tough watch in parts.
