My criticism, if you've ever bothered to read any of my posts properly, is with frivolous and/or unnecessary over-use of the private car. Which in turn leads to excess C02 emissions, global warming, unnaturally severe weather events, huge bush/forest fires - and accelerated sealevel rise.
B) Converting open coal fires to smokeless woodstove installations, significantly decreases pollution....Believe me, I know which one I'd rather live next door to!

Wac-a-mole continues;
with your damascene conversion to diesel,
you will be telling us you like cars and don't like bikes next.
Pure comedy gold from the eco hypocrite clown.

You keep banging on about open coal fires, how many still have open coal fires as source of heating? we haven’t had an open coal fire for more than 45 years and in three different houses.

It is quite literally a smokescreen from the eco clown and new fan of diesel.
To coin a phrase from Mr Royle, green, my ***.

There are literally thousands of fireplaces in the area. You'll find them in almost every property built before the '80's. Most who use their fires, do so in conjunction with their central heating. In addition to the regular users, you'd be surprised how many more like to have a real fire at Xmas.

I'm no 'fan' of diesel, especially not in cars of a certain make (#smoking tailpipe scandal ). But for commercial use in heavier vehicles, it has its place.

I will absolutely guarantee that the VW diesel at the centre of the emissions scandal is still a whole lot cleaner than your diesel vehicles and particularly your cancer-causing stoves.

Of course, you wouldn't they're far too clean for you.

A brief respite from endless incrimination:
Whatever fix we contrive, there is no escaping the 'anthropocene' is bad news for the rest of life on earth.

Although they are very rare, I for once have sympathy, as I know what it's like to live near one and it to plague your home.
There is one right by my home, it absolutely stinks, I wouldn't mind the occupant is a Vegan!
On multiple occasions it has triggered my asthma and I've had to go around and block all the vents in my own house due to the thick black smoke invading my home. This predominantly occurs when the air outside is thick and heavy, it tends to linger and be pushed down instead of up, terribly selfish of them in my opinion.
I often wonder how on earth they are still legal, it's quite horrendous
Sooner will a camel pass through a needle's eye than a great man be "discovered" by an election.

Does your neighbour have an electric bike?
This is the reality for people living near to these super polluters and the glib comments from the eco clown who sells them and those who seek to defend him are nauseating.
They clearly don't care about people like you
