She might have gone down with flu immediately after having the vaccine, but she would not have caught it from the vaccine as they use a "dead" virus in the vaccine. A coincidence, nothing more.

And if he does mean that it means that this vaccine is only 50% effective and that only half of those receiving a jab

That makes more sense! As the vaccine roll out progresses we should see far fewer new cases. Obviously we will never have 90% reduction in transmission rates as not everyone will be vaccinated.
Humanity owes a tremendous debt to Prof. Sahin and others like him.

He has an interesting surname. Sahin (pronounced Sharheen means 'hawk'. He is a Turkish Moslem immigrant to Germany.

Oh no! Not another immigrant who has made a valuable contribution to society. You'll be upsetting Searcher & Greenmachine with your PC nonsense ... and poor Said will probably have an attack of the vapours.

Various nations have different RNA/DNA composition. Each nation may have immunity against various diseases in their own country, but may be carriers to people of other nations who do not have immunity. Check - C19, many Asians and those of Black descent were most affected as published in the media.

Said, try and be sensible.
Vaccines are not magic bullets (not quite) and for them to work adequately enough, people have to be vaccinated.
So we have to help the financially poor, and also the poorly informed vaccine sceptics.
Smallpox was around at the time of Pharaohs. We have evidence for that from mummies. Actually, the modern development of a vaccine (not a discovery as you mistakenly state) by Jenner, following his work on cow pox, was not the first attempt to immunise: the Chinese had tried it 200 years previously.
Now, after more than 2.000 years of pestilence, the human race has seeming irradicated this curse. Perhaps there will still be pockets in areas of the globe where the disadvantaged, or the foolish have not had their immune systems made smart by inoculation.
Let's hope we can get rid of Covid by vaccinating everyone and not have this virus also destroying lives for millennia, as smallpox did before science and sense got rid of it. If that means mandatory vaccination, other than in exceptional curcumstances, so be it.

You probably had routine vaccinations in your childhood, you say you are now allergic to vaccinations, hardly surprising as you are also allergic to common sense, information, science and history, you are a consistent denier of anything mainstream, instead a steadfast devotee of all and any lunatic fringe, promoted by unknown but like minded idiots.

'Big Pharma' is not 'funded by Bill Gates' 'Big Pharma' is simply a collective nickname for all large pharmaceutical companies.
Although 'Big Pharma' is the target of idiot conspiracy theory followers. So you are bound to believe that either Bill Gates or George Soros are the source of all of their evil.
You're allergic to reality. You live in a fantasy world propagated by the likes of Q-Anon. You probably believe there's a cult run from a pizza parlour basement, where celebrity paedos drink the blood of babies.
I imagine the biggest problem you have with that is they won't let you join.
