Joel.O. Wertheim states that Basal lineages can disappear due to natural selection or vaccination. The mummified body from the 16th century would not have received a vaccination at that time, and it is well known that lineages can disappear for many years and reassert themselves any time later. Not necessarily due to vaccination. As I pointed out, TB disappeared of its own accord.

Viruses also mutate. There are three effects of mutation. Positive, where it helps the virus to survive, Negative by which the virus may not receive sufficient nutrients or Zero, the virus may not do anything. Over thousands of years, I would suggest that it would be impossible to determine whether a virus appeared a number of times or not - but according to Hendrik Poinar, he says that if the same virus had been replicating for a number of years, then he would have expected a greater variation in the lineages.

I have not studied ancient viruses, so I am not qualified to comment on either report, but would side more with Prof. Poinar as he is an independent scientist.

The vaccine, as far as I am informed at this time, for C19, is a modified Coronavirus injection(either the common cold or influenza). After the injection and at a later date, patients will need a blood test The blood will be analysed as to how the vaccine reacts against the virus.

I cannot envisage the vaccination causing anyone any harm - but, I cannot see it helping much either. By the time vaccinations have been rolled out for C19, there will be yet another variation of the virus breaking out.

PFIZER AND BIONTECH ANNOUNCE VACCINE CANDIDATE AGAINST COVID-19 ACHIEVED SUCCESS IN FIRST INTERIM ANALYSIS FROM PHASE 3 STUDY

I have no idea what you are talking about. I stated that BioNTech is the developer (or as you prefer to call it: 'the discoverer') of the Covid vaccine (BNT162b2), all of which is correct. I also explained why they went into partnership with Pfizer.

Now check who are the parent company of Pfizer?

And check where the funding is coming from?

Then check the number of law suits against them?
I wasn't aware that Pfizer had a parent company. Please enlighten me.

Whose funding, BioNTech or Pfizer? Not that I really care where either company's funding is coming from, unless it's from the baby eating Gates Foundation. I don't want the blood of innocent children on my hands.

I don't have to check the number of law suits against Pfizer. I've been aware of them for quite some time. Pfizer's reputation stinks.

I'm no great fan of Big Pharma anyway, mainly due to the stranglehold they have on US politicians, resulting in exorbitant drug prices for the American people. However I do recognise their extraordinary work and I'm incredibly grateful for their breakthroughs in medicine.

In a previous post you mentioned that there wasn't a vaccine for TB? There was a vaccine. I was in school when I had it, but I can't remember my age. It was rolled out all across the UK, which is why it disappeared.

The vaccine, as far as I am informed at this time, for C19, is a modified Coronavirus injection(either the common cold or influenza). After the injection and at a later date, patients will need a blood test The blood will be analysed as to how the vaccine reacts against the virus.

The modified Coronavirus vaccine is AstraZeneca, which hasn't yet been authorized for use. The current vaccine is a new tech mRNA vaccine.

Said: All Poinor is saying is that the smallpox virus that was circulating 200 years ago was a variant of the ancient one.

Try and read more carefully.

Perhaps more original thought and less copying and pasting ought to be on your agenda?

Can’t be bothered going through your long winded drivel, but on this one you forget there are plenty of people who remember the multi pronged attack to almost defeat TB, firstly TB isn’t totally eradicated in the UK there were over 5000 cases last year.

There is a vaccine against TB which is still very much in use and routinely given to children and normally gives cover into mid teens, then the intensive TB checking of dairy cattle then beef cattle, finally the improvement in housing and living conditions.

TB is still very much around particularly in under developed countries, the TB virus can and does spread in overcrowded and poor condition housing, yet you imaginatively believe that TB has simply vanished, as usual totally wrong.

That I don't doubt Sherlock I think my question is more;

what exactly have you studied?

in the formal sense of the word that is rather than at the feet of Doctor Google or whichever search engine you use to navigate the darker edges of the internet.

I think I'm not pushing credulity to think it's none of the sciences.

Cutting and pasting in the more rudimentary sense certainly but all that PVA does get everywhere don't you find?

Every kid was vaccinated for TB. Have been for decades. Unless it was Bill Gates that was microchipping us all back in the early 70s.

Even if TB could somehow be 'eradicated' in the UK at some point, it wouldn't be for long.....Because cross-channel illegals from Africa etc, would continue to bring it in.

It is not just illegals who import viruses, bone fide travellers from all corners of the world are probably responsible for most spreading, perhaps immigration rules need amending so if anybody wants to stay long term them must have all the innoculations that our kids receive.

Not a bad idea. We have to have pets inoculated for travelling so they don't spread disease.

I'm not a great fan of the thought of government sanctioned compulsory vaccinations, but we don't allow pathways to infection in other ways. Most western countries wouldn't allow the import of foreign flora or fauna without strict controls, so they don't infect or upset local ecology. Even the cockroaches used in the recent series of 'I'm A Celebrity...' caused concern that they might escape and upset the balance of the local environment.

It's something worth considering. It would get the Libertarians squealing, but I wouldn't welcome anyone into my home that I thought was carrying some kind of disease.

I would be surprised if there aren't any requirements for immigrants who plan to make the UK their permanent home. When I emigrated to Canada in '74 as a landed immigrant, part of the medical included confirmation of receiving all of the vaccinations routinely administered in Canada. I hadn't had a smallpox vaccination ( mum and her family blaming the smallpox vaccine for her dad contracting TB of the bone as a child shortly after he received the vaccine) so I had to have one before I was accepted.

It wouldn't be compulsory only voluntary, they would be volunteering when they applied.
