No privacy at all as reception is in the waiting room for all to hear, you are given the hard sell by the receptionist asking if you're interested in teeth whitening and other cosmetic treatments.
I haven't see the same dentist in the last 4 visits.
Last time I went once in the chair the dentist was asking a few questions and asked me how my surgery went? I replied what surgery I haven't had any, she replied it says here you had an operation recently, I asked had she got the right patient details to which there was a tapping of the keyboard and oh yes I can see that now!
I've been trying to change since but long waiting list at my preferred choice and Covid hit.
There is a shortage of good dentists at present because many are now carrying out implants which takes a lot of time. Not surprised - I was quoted £8000 at one dentist for cosmetic work. Hell, I am sure I could get a whole head transplant for that.
A growing number of British people are travelling abroad for medical and dental services because it is both cheaper and faster to obtain. A lot of dentistry work is carried out in Turkey, they have all the latest technology and expertise, people save a lot of money even after paying out for air fares and hotel accommodation.

That’s rich coming from you, you literally have a traffic light system for stopping people in the street making tens at a time a captive audience for your cries of come on gang and cheeky chatter to most that pass you.
I have walked past you most days twice a day for the past 5 yrs and never got past you once without your brief conversational chatter that has ranged from thunderbirds to the x factor to 80 chart music and all in between . Ha ha .

Dentist
Another vote here for Mark Cracknell at St Pauls Dental Care. Would recommend this guy all day long, very skilled and very sympathetic to nervous patients, and just a really pleasant person.
