OK maths is nuts
My partner is a maths teacher in a secondary school and we argue about answers to questions.
for example
maths is nuts 15-10÷5=1 but the answer is 13 apparently??
So if I have 15 bottles of beer and take 10 away i am left with 5 and then divide that by 5 surely that leaves 1 ?

Correct. One should always do the multiplications and divisions, before doing the additions and subtraction.

Pay attention in school and remember what you are taught. That's the point in going to school.

Kids are taught in schools that lets say 2+2 equals 4 but they don’t say equals anymore ?? They are taught to say “the same as “, so now 2+2 is the same as 4 ...I don’t like this .
