No, there is only one US President and it's Biden he is the man at the helm and the finger on the trigger his term lasts till January 20th 2025 Inaugaration.

Biden can be replaced as late as August at the parties convention if he doesn't himself choose to go.

The he's half mad but look at the other bloke defence is frankly off the chart in madness.

What could be better for the anti-Trump lobby than a fit well and most importantly capable candidate beating Trump by a large margin.

No one could argue with any conviction he has years of effective service to give.

More importantly the worlds despots might give the US some respect they must watch his cognitive meanderings and laugh.

Like it or not the choice is between Biden and Trump, little point in trying this constant babble about Biden being incapable, let’s face it a half functioning Biden is so much better than a deranged mad man like Trump.

Democrats do have a number of likely contenders, but too late to jump ship now.

Technically they could replace Biden, but in practice not. There wouldn't be time to amass the donors or plan the campaigning.

What is fundamentally wrong is that in every respect Trump matches Biden for cognitive decline but has the added disadvantage of personality disorders. But the discussion, as here , seems to be all about Biden only.

Where Biden scores decisively is that he has the good sense to consult his advisers. When Trump was POTUS there was a constant turnover of people in key positions usually because they had the temerity to disagree with him. When that happened , of course, they were "idiots" although apparently they weren't when he hired them.

Here's the latest example of Trump's reluctance to embrace reality. He accused Hilary Clinton of destroying evidence using an acid "that could kill people within a ten mile radius". He is talking about SOFTWARE called Burnbyte.

If it was true that Trump matches Biden for cognitive decline then he could wipe away most of the politically motivated charges, which do seem to be losing a bit of steam as it is.

The awkward truth is that the horrible one was always the smarter one.

Apart from his virtually daily word salads and confusing Biden with Obama , and forgetting WW2, he wouldn't be in such trouble if he was smart. He THINKS he is smart, which is his problem.

Here's an example. In his NY fraud trial, there was a stage where he had the option of having a jury trial. He didn't take it, and then kept repeatedly moaning because he wasn't having a jury trial.

In every case he is involved in he has made moves which have created further problems for him. He is currently running a high risk of increasing the amounts he has to pay by making unnecessary comments about E Jean Carroll. No wonder that lawyer after lawyer has walked away from him.

The horrible truth for Trump is quite simple, the skunk has got away with much that would have been the death knell for others, mainly because when challenged his response has always been to sue, knowing that most couldn’t afford the costs of a lengthy judicial process.

It does show that, his stance on Russia in Ukraine saying he'd sort it out in 3 days and give them what they want has emboldened Putin.

I don't think there is any doubt that Trump would pose a danger to the West.

He would concede Ukraine right away, in the wholly mistaken belief that Ukraine is all Putin wants.

Putin would then know he had four years in which to annex a couple of other states.

What Trump wants is to hold elections like Putin, elections where the result is known before a vote is cast.
