Nothing new then, we have the wrong sort of Governing Party to make the Rich worry about anything. There's nothing like working all your life retiring and attending Eastbank House to claim anything you are perfectly entitled to after they have put their shackles on the money.

Funny they don't care as much about the rich getting away with paying taxes they have dodged.

I overheard a person being turned away from the vaccine centre for claiming they were a 'carer' as "visited elderly mother every day".

If your name is not on the list at the vaccination centre you will be asked
questions.

Never mind skipping the queue how do you get in queue, if you are due the jab but not had an invite phone the surgery & get a recorded message telling you not to pester them with vaccination queries. Go online to the NHS site put your details in and try to book an appointment, probably be able to pick a local one in a couple of weeks, then comes the hard bit, you can only book the appointment if you book the second jab.try and book the same venue and get the message none available try another site, then you find you've got to go to Fleetwood or some other godforsaken place.

Tried 4 times so far.

My wife had the same problem. Received the text invitation to apply and then spent four days trying to get an appointment locally. She eventually got one for Boots on Chapel St and has now had it, so don't give up - keep trying every so often.

I love stirring this pot. Influenza vaccines have been around for a good number of years, in fact "The U.S Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends the flu vaccine as the best way to protect people against the flu and prevent its spread"
