Trump unbalanced the situation by favouring Israel and telling the Palestinians that they need to compromise or leave the negotiations. Much as I hate to agree with anything Trump says there was some merit in this. Personally, I would let everyone who wants to leave the country then tell those who remain to duke it out until only one is left standing. I realise this is never going to happen but maybe, if the UN was what it is supposed to be, it could step in and take over the countries while brokering talks.
Or let the WVS sort them out.
I have no answers to the whole ungodly mess.
The UN would not put humans in a peace keeping position it is just too dangerous.
Although the aim is a Two State solution what it means in reality for Hamas is no Jews in Palestine as it is in Gaza is now.
Israeli Arabs are 21% of the population of Israel which at the moment descending into civil war.
In partition what would happen to Israeli Arabs?
Last week I would have expected the majority to remain in Western Israel.
Now I am not so sure.

And the quality of life for the Israeli Arabs would sink to the low experienced by the average Arab in most of the other large Arab-run Mid-Eastern nations.
I met several Israeli Arabs a few years ago. They made it very clear to me how relieved they were to be Israelis.
This new social media aware protesting generation are creating chaos for everyone. Let's hope things don't get as bad as they are frighteningly looking right now.

Israel creates the perfect circumstances for the scum of Hamas to flourish there is no point in the Palestinians electing a respectable and decent government they would be crushed by Israel.
Israel is intent on taking what they want when they feel like it.
Your average Palestinian has no access to Justice.
Inevitably Israel will militarily crush some of the guilty but mainly the innocent, lots and lots of the innocent.
A state that blows up scarce homes has no legitimacy.

United Arab list wins 5 seats in Israeli Parliament.

Palestinian election.
Quote
........."After the elections were announced, his own Fatah party split, with internal challengers announcing their own list of candidates that threatens to undermine the official slate.
The split could jeopardise Abbas's long grip on power by allowing the Islamist group Hamas to gain more seats from Fatah's internal divisions - a key reason Fatah lost the previous elections.
"(Abbas) could certainly use (Jerusalem) as a pretext to delay the election," Gaza political analyst Talal Okal said, adding that Abbas's main concern "is Fatah, its separate lists, and fears that Hamas might get higher votes than Fatah."
Hamas and other Palestinian parties have objected to any delay.
"There is no chance (we will) discuss a delay. What we should discuss is how to conduct the election in Jerusalem," Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem said.
Hamas seized control of Gaza in 2007 from Abbas's Palestinian Authority, which has limited self-rule in the West Bank. The two have been in a protracted power struggle since.
About 6,300 East Jerusalem Palestinians would need to cast ballots at Israeli post offices in the city, in accordance with past agreements, Palestinian officials say. The rest of the city's 150,000 Palestinians can vote outside the city, they say."

Posters who feel they would like a little background to the conflict which is more helpful than flag-waving, might like to click on the links below. The first is encyclopaedic and the second is a critcism of Netanyahu published in an Israeli newspaper.

Please try and stop demonstrating you are still a silly flag -waving schoolgirl
.The first article is balanced and factual and prpfessionally written, unlike Wikipedia which is the work of bored old people in slippers and dressing gowns.
The second link is an attack on Netanyahu.
But as regards Zionism:
Martin Luther King dealt with it thus:
"When people criticize Zionists, they mean Jews. You're talking anti-Semitism."
I guess that because you are a Hamas supporter, King would have also been identifying you. If not piease confirm that you do not in fact support Hamas as you have been requested to do by a number of posters.

Hamas armed wing spokesman Abu Ubaida responded to this by urging Palestinians to rise up.
"Mass up as you wish, from the sea, land and sky. We have prepared for your kinds of deaths that would make you curse yourselves."(Japan Times)
Poor, poor Palestinians to have leaders who encourage and glamorise war and death.

It’s a pity you didn’t have the foresight to post a “balanced and factual and prpfessionally written” article instead of the drivel you did post.
Oh dear. And now you’ve had to resort to personal insults. An obvious sign of your lack of intelligence and insecurity. What a shame, you’ve really let yourself down.

Thank you for confirming that you are indeed a Hamas- supporting, anti-Semitic, flag-waving schoolgirl.
Perhaps when you grow into a woman, you will change. Let's hope so.
More importantly, the IDF are going into the Hamas tunnels. Let's hope that has some impact and life can get back to normal (or as close to normal) for all.

Tell me how does your average Palestinian get his home back after Israel has taken it ?
They live in a prison camp and yes the scum have taken charge I fully accept that but who else do they turn to ?
Israel will flatten large areas and kill many people in the name of defence.
Israel has ignored many UN resolutions.
This leaves a yawning chasm for the likes of Hamas to occupy.
You want facts?
Israel is the world record holder for violating UN resolutions
