Where is the 'outrage' at Hamas?
Hamas are rightly regarded as outlaws having perpetrated October 7 atrocities among many others.
Condemnation is widespread.
However, few suppose Hamas will respond to 'outrage'.
In contrast, the State of Israel styles itself as a law-abiding, democratic state which nevertheless wages a vengeful, violent annihilation of the Gaza Strip killing thousands of civilian non-combatants while destroying the fabric of Gaza's society.
[And Israel behaves lawlessly vis-à-vis the West Bank's Muslim population!]
Hence, outrage.

The 'outrage' is not directed solely at Israel. Antony Blinken doubtless hopes to mitigate the 'outrage' directed at his boss, President Biden!

So, you don't find it strange that the terrorist organisation which declared war by slaughtering and taking hostages is hardly mentioned? That's rather odd.

It is "strange" that you suggest "the terrorist organisation …is hardly mentioned" !
Hamas and PIJ are mentioned endlessly on this thread and in the media.
It is perhaps "odd" that some forum posters are reluctant to distinguish between terrorist organizations and innocent Palestinian civilians, lest it reflect badly on Israel's conduct of its war.

If your comment is referring to my posts ?
I can assure you, that I can tell the difference between HAMAS and the civilian people of Gaza. I may be old, but not stupid
HAMAS itself has brought the suffering to the Palestinians..you know exactly what brought on this WAR. You are blaming Israel, instead of the instigators of this astronomical atrocity.
If it was your family, your 18 year old daughter gang raped, your elderly parents kidnapped, your baby of 9 months and his 3 year old brother were taken hostage into those filthy humid tunnels of Gaza, how would you feel.
As Hector mentioned, HAMAS are hardly mentioned in the media.
Of course I try to remind people, that if Israel don’t annihilate HAMAS’S leader SINWAR asap then all what has happened during the past 6 months has been to no avail..
Hamas have played the propaganda role to the best. Deserving an Oscar.
Maybe Israeli should start releasing some of the actual footage of that horrific massacre which Hamas terrorists did to young teenagers and old folks , burning homes while people were locked inside..it was pure EVIL
and if anyone thinks that Israel shouldn’t go after those scum who did it
should put themselves in that situation.
What would you do ?
Kiss their cheek and say to yourself, I must love my Neighbour. BS,
Brits would be the first to find those wicked murderers.

Let me try and help you.
'And' in your sentence means, 'in addition'.

…in fact, no; not your posts in particular.
As for the rest of your post #2497, I will agree Hamas has brought additional horrific suffering to the Palestinians by their Oct. 7 atrocities. But the people of Gaza have been suffering being confined and controlled by Israel for decades!
If you imagine that 'annihilation' of "SINWAR" resolves anything, then you are deluding yourself.
The root cause of the conflict is in Zionism's basic premise, namely: that European Jews were entitled to colonize Palestine and displace its Arab inhabitants [owing to G*d's promises to Abraham and Moses ?] |
— That is ideological propaganda on a grand scale.

If only.....
Palestine had agreed to partition in 1947 instead of giving all to Israel.
If only surrounding Arab Countries had not attack Israel the day after Israel agreed to partition.
If only Hamas had not committed a political coup of the elected Palestinian
Fatah.
If only the Radical Islamic Terrorist Group Hamas were the Western worlds idea of peace in the Middle East.

— Are you being deliberately obtuse?
Far from Hamas being "hardly mentioned" — both this forum and "the media" have had ample references to Hamas' odiousness. Thus, equivalence.

Very well said,Hamble.
You may find the following article interesting.
" For example, in August 1929, two decades before Israel existed, Palestinian terrorists massacred 70 Jewish civilians in Hebron. The Times of London carried a chilling report of the massacres in its September 2, 1929, edition, describing how the terrorists slaughtered women and Yeshiva students."

Orwell said "If there is hope, it lies in the proles." Whilst champagne socialists see diversity idealised at university, the common folk experience it first hand in their neighbour hoods.

Foreign secretary tried to deflect Fox News’s dumb comment about how UK ‘streets are taken over by pro-Hamas folks’, but he can’t please everyone
Zoe Williams |
…What did Cameron think about London, our London, where “streets are taken over by pro-Hamas folks” and the “Jewish community is describing a country that’s become almost unrecognisable, in terms of the toleration of this”.
Cameron’s face is famously hard to read. Caitlin Moran once said he looked like a robot made of ham. But this must surely have ruffled him on the inside: this is what half his party says, round the clock. |
This is the means by which they threaten the right to protest, and the tactic they use to deflect any serious consideration of the situation in Gaza; that it can’t be a massacre because Hamas and any right-thinking person disputing that slaughter must love Hamas, and that British Jews are terrified of their own country, because the streets are lined with Hamas-lovers. Everyone knows that’s not true but, for as long as it’s useful, that’s what a lot of Conservatives will claim to think.
…
Really hard to say – see robots, ham – but he deflected it quite well, stressing all the freedoms, stressing the rule of law, stressing that Benjamin Netanyahu ought to observe laws, too, particularly with regards to civilians.
“The Brits and the Americans didn’t provide aid to Germans, in World War Two,” the anchor replied.
Britain’s top diplomat didn’t dignify that.

So Hamas's plan to have a war between Islam and the rest is coming to fruition.
