Who is this "horrible old misogynist" you keep referring to? Presumably whoever it was who wrote the second commandment.
I expect you think patting Buddhists on the head will somehow help Rohingyas.
The horrible old misogynists you support are the likes of;
Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an took first place in the 2021 edition. He was followed by King Salman of Saudi Arabia, Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, and King Abdullah II of Jordan. Pakistani scholar Muhammad Taqi Usmani, King Mohammed VI of Morocco, Emirati Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Iraqi cleric Ali al-Sistani, Yemeni scholar Umar bin Hafiz and Saudi Arabian scholar Salman al-Ouda are also among the top 10 list.[

What great company you keep.
As I keep writing but you keep ignoring, children are indoctrinated to be offended by the likes of the above.
Maybe they could do with a few women to modernise and protect children and womens rights, not you of course you think it's fine to indoctrinate children and subjugate women.
You should sign up,
Oh and don't play the lame Islamophobia card the issues are not just with them;

Orthodox Jews believe the name God is too holy to use in language or to say out aloud.
Instead Hebrew words meaning 'Lord' or 'my lord' or 'the name'(God).
It extends to writing in English a practice of spelling as 'G-d'.
This has nothing to do with the Second Commandment on 'Graven Images'.
Idolatry was banned when Judaism was forming as a religion of one god
in a World were other religions worshipped with idols.
It is not offensive to depict religion in Art or books.
Judaism does not have god busts or images or pictures in the synagogue(Moses did not see gods face) all artistic effort is put into
religious objects conveying the Old Testament and the buildings of prayer.
Jewish children are familiar with Christian idols images and Art depicting god.
It is not offensive.

So you don't think offending Muslims is the key to liberating them. Why then do you want to offend them?

If Muslim children go to a State School they are liberated.
Report the illegal schools.
Respecting the view of not showing the image (of Mohammed) is a small cultural concession.
Sometimes people get so hung up on being told they cannot do something
it becomes a perverse compulsion.

I was being ironic,
but as I keep saying they are only offended because they have been taught to be offended.
You support children's indoctrination and women's subjugation I don't,
so I openly condemn the manufactured outrage designed to intimidate and perpetuate, you support it.
You enjoy your freedoms.

You keep defending people who indoctrinate children and subjugate women what did you want praise?
They teach children to be "offended" and at odds with the society they live in, yet you support their actions,
there isn't much chance of me being supportive i think children should be allowed to grow up and decide which if any religion they wish to follow.
I also, strangely enough think women should be treated equally to men it appears you don't, well perhaps its just some women.
Which women do you think don't deserve equality ?

Can you give us any examples of where offending people has led to their emancipation?

As I keep saying but you don't want to hear it, they are taught to be offended,
it isn't them who make the rules it is the grumpy old men who run the show and tell them what to be offended by.
I cannot think why anyone, women in particular, who would not want to offend these people at every opportunity.
We are still (just about) in a free country and it is the duty of all of us to keep it free for everyone.
The country should unite against these misogynists and child abusers and remove their false religious cover.
All children all women deserve it not just white middle-class Polly's.
