I think you'll find that Ravindra Gupta, MA, MPH, BMBCh, PhD, FRCP, FRCPath, FMedSci's qualifications are a lot more impressive than you give him credit for. The same applies to his achievements. His research work earned him a place in Time's 100 most influential people of 2020.
Gupta was temporarily co-opted to Nervtag for Covid. And if you believe that the government, particularly Boris Johnson, wants to delay lifting Covid restrictions, you're crazy. Understandably, it's the last advice they want to hear.
I am merely pointing out that not everything is as it is read. For wealthy people many accreditations are given to them in order to give credence to various establishments or they can be bought. Mr. Gupta does claim to have a long list of letters after his name - but to have obtained these he would have been studying for about fifteen years. One of those degrees is for work he has not been involved in. He is known in the UK - but not so much in his own country -
"Gupta's research career is focused on emergence of global HIV drug resistance. Having completed his specialist medical training in infectious diseases and a Masters in International Public Health, he now works on clinical/epidemiological aspects of drug resistance as well as in vitro investigation of susceptibility to protease inhibitors, a major class of drugs now being widely used to tackle first line treatment failure globally." India TV

Note that Gupta has two research facilities he owns and he has a large number of medical staff working for him. Mr. Gupta has his name on several publications, but most of these are in association with his research staff.
Mr. Ravinda Gupta and Dr. Ankur Gupta, both lecture at the UCL in similar topics of disease. Ravinda Gupta is a Government 'adviser' for Covid. Both of these gentlemen, were sponsored by The Wellcome Trust whose greatest interest was in HIV cures. In the early 20th century, Wellcome sold out to GlaxoSmithKline and is no longer a charitable trust, nor has anything to do with Wellcome. Its main venture is in Pharmaceuticals and vigorously attracting investments. It is also a major investor in one of the companies responsible for the Covid testing and made over £3billion from those investments alone. Pfizer has a third of that company.
Jeremy Farrar works for the GlaxoSmithKline company and is a member of the Internal Investment Committee and is a known media celebrity, he had several talks with investment groups prior to the Covid outbreak, and they pay dividends to the company.
Obviously, Mr. Gupta is a good bet for a government mouthpiece - he has a financial interest in both his own and his sponsor companies. Even though he has only been working on it since 2019. There is a lot more information - as I have constantly tried to illustrate. It makes no odds what qualifications researchers claim, no-one is interested - Business is business.

Really? Who put them right? I would like to see the evidence for that. Conspiracy analysts only work with factual evidence, and if they claim that an event just did not occur - anyone will have a huge problem trying to prove that an event did.

Predictably, they appear to have forgotten that.
That person was absolutely correct too. Can you prove any different?

Odd they don't deny the existence of other Coronaviruses, just those that stop them enjoying imagined freedoms. Or perhaps, as I suspect with a few of the conspiracy theorists on here, they simply delight in the attention their bizarre claims get them. Lots of typing with one hand.
On the plus side, if they refuse vaccinations, they might not be around long enough to further spread their toxic ideas. Here's hoping.
Thousands of protestors turned up in London to protest about lockdowns etc., none were distancing, none were wearing masks - don't even you find it odd that there has not been a mass outbreak of this virus in London as a consequence? Who is the crank?

What would be the point in proving any different?
This Forum is saturated with years of examples of your contrarian notions being dismantled. After most instances of that -when you bother to reply- you typically laugh off the takedowns of your posts, to move on to wheeling out your latest conspiracy variant. That is the seemingly endless pattern. Like a feeble version of that Tom Cruise film: Edge Of Tomorrow - Live. Die. Repeat.
The rapid ease with which you bounce back from your regular Forum humiliations almost suggests that you're not as attached to the notions you try and fail to propagate as your words and prolific post count would otherwise seemingly attest. Obviously, there's alternative explanations.
So, tell me, what would be the point in being sucked into descending down another of your attention-seeking rabbit holes?
Just because you're a waste of your time doesn't mean you get to be a waste of mine!

Meanwhile, 39 million normal people up and down the U.K. have accepted the offer of a vaccination against it. Most hospital admissions with Covid recently in Bolton where people who were elegible, but chosen not have the jab.your cohorts down in London are part of the reason why we’re seeing an increase in cases again.

The UK is his own country. He was born and bred in London. Of course as you've established this week, if someone looks different, they will never be considered to be British. Thankfully for all of the ethnic groups who were born and bred in the UK, those whose families have lived in the UK for generations and those who are naturalised Britons, your putrid views don't mirror the views of the majority of British people.
The rest of your missive is simply another one of your sad word salads attempting to discredit a brilliant man whose work has benefited society. It didn't work. Bitter crank (© Toodles McGinty)

The average age was 29 of those being admitted to hospitals, few were those who should have been vaccinated, the recent outbreak in Formby was nothing to do with eligible unvaccinated people it was children based in three schools.I got a train from Manchester last Friday, it emptied at Bolton, it had been full of young people going for a night out and a substantial number of them were sporting badges claiming to be exempt from wearing a mask, that is how it is spreading.

Oh dear, tell me who is it who flies in the face of those with expertise in their own field? Who is it who issues contrary and cranky opinions to every subject under the sun? Who is it who “knows” better than everyone else? Who is the main propagator of assorted conspiracy theories on this site?
Finally who get’s shot down with an embarrassing regularity, yet still believes they know best? Quick guess only one candidate and it isn’t me.
Still you do provide a certain diversion and amusement to the forum, you don’t become a problem until someone believes you, fortunately that is clearly not the case.

I might if they stayed in London as it was they met outdoors and then went home.
But you have told us in your anti-mask posts that the "invisible" virus is spread in the air.
Your not very good at this science stuff are you Prof?
