Fairly sure there are other world leaders whose offspring have done worse than lying on a form. Murdering a journalist then chopping up the poor man's body with a bone saw is the first that springs to mind.

The world doesn't seem too concerned with that, so Biden's kid is going to be way down the list. Wondering if his predecessor's children ever see the inside of a jail?

Trump’s entire base is from irrational people, as I’ve said we don’t know just how the investigations will pan out, but that phone call to Brad Raffensperger alone would see most removed from office and facing a court.

Sure Trump is an arrogant, ignorant, narcissist with the mentality of a spoiled child, that alone is not why he is under investigation, his financial affairs have looked dodgy for years and certainly he used the Presidency to keep many at arms length, his string of deliberate lies and misinformation during the Presidency much of which had detrimental effects to the people,
the guy is a total fraud and finally the chickens are coming home to roost.

You speak of Biden’s family gaining positions probably due to Biden’s influence, take a look at the positions gifted to the Trump clan, these were positions of control within the government of the USA, none elected, subject only to Daddy’s approval, defend Trump v Biden as much as you will, Biden has not called for nor approved the concept of a military coup, Biden has not attempted to prevent the government from functioning.

Trump is bad news not only for the USA, but for every democracy in the world, the current tactics are more reminiscent of those used by Hitler for his rise to power, sadly that demonstrate just how easy it is to drum up a following of the gullible and the easily lead.

Trump doesn't care what the fallout is in human terms as long as his own ends are served....exhibit A is the woman ambassador who literally had to flee for her life when she tried to withstand the flow of corruption. Exhibit B is the army veteran Colonel who tried to expose events in Ukraine. For his trouble he was sacked and escorted from the White House. Even his twin brother's career was damaged. Then there are the reputations trashed for people who testified against Trump at various congressional hearings.

Trump has a particular line in spite that is way beyond political revenge. Remember McCabe? He was literally minutes away from retiring with a pension but Trump waited until a couple of minutes to midnight on the last day of his notice to sack him thus denying him his pension.

I am not sure if QLocal has the server space for the full list of how many occasions the entire Trump family has exploited their positions for profit.

Giuliani went to the Ukraine last year to BEG them to give him details of how Hunter Biden had offended. There weren't any. BTW he is a quite widely acclaimed lawyer, with personal problems yes, but a quite different proposition to (for example ) Jared Kushner.

As to gun offences, no comment made about the story in Texas midweek ( a state which has actually REPEALED laws requiring gun owners to have training)...where a woman annoyed by the noise a bulldog puppy was making , shot it and then shot the toddler that ran to it.

Trump was investigated and questioned at great length by his employers over many months before his apointment.

Any American who thought they were electing a saint needs their vote withdrawing and medication.

Trump the President was to my mind better than I expected after seeing him on TV before he was.

Isn't the reality that the electorate is more sophisticated than they were and as with Boris they weigh up a person's "faults" and the opposition before casting their vote.

When he was up for having his contract renewed, they let him go, Democracy.

We may well do the same with Boris.
