Merseyside Police were called to Lord Street West Church this morning after a disturbance broke out at the meeting room. One group of people were already in the room when another group turned up. They were refused entry and heated arguments broke out.
The police were called and four marked cars and one unmarked patrol car turned up with at least ten officers on scene.
Officers calmed down the situation to be amicably resolved. No arrests were made.
