Anyone watching 'Big Timber'?
Oh my never thought I would be hooked on life in a wood yard.

Not heard of that one. I'll give it a watch.
I'm currently working my way through 'Orphan Black'. Not bad but the terrible accents make it heavy going.
Watched a film on Netflix called 'Ma' last night. If you like your psychopaths to be female, it's pretty good.

I shall look at yours.
We have just finished Season 1 of 'Ferry'. and 2 'Under Cover'.
Police under cover series made more attractive by bits of Dutch/Belgium humour.

If you have Amazon Prime, there's an absolutely cracking series called 'Underground Railroad'. It's about a young girl trying to escape from slavery. It will make you angry and horrified in equal amounts, but such a good watch.
Also a sort of supernatural series called 'Them'. To be fair, it was horrible enough without the supernatural bits. Again, a good watch.

Give the first a whirl not keen on supernatural or horror.
I particularly like the true crime murder series or those based on (even if loosely) real events.
Escapism is needed.
'Big Timber' -finished all episodes now.
About a wood mill in Canada and logging on 'a claim' how the wood is cut transported for processing.
The machines they use are amazing the owner Kevin a character.

Just watched the prestige, ooh was good . The spy is really good and both the black mirrors are too, not to mention love life and robots and kiss me first . I could go on all day with brill films like fury and captain Phillips and rush I think I get through about 3 films a day between watching the news and trying to stop smoking. Maybe one day I’ll get a life again .. but for now it’s Netflix, it’s midnight now just got time for another film ha ha . Yea there’s another season of Locke and key and stranger things to look forward to, 6 underground and RIPD is good in fact anything with Ryan Reynolds in is a hit and anything with Ricky gervaise in is well written

Been watching 'Dark'. I personally don't readily associate Germany with crime dramas, but a German crime drama is one way of describing it. And, oh boy, it's as dark as a cave! Vey well written and acted. Wasn't too sure about it at first, but it steals up on you. Intriguing. Halfway through Season 1.

I got rid of Netflix after years of spending hours almost daily, trawling through scores of "D" grade movies looking for something that appeared watchable.
Just be yourself, no one else is better qualified!!

I really enjoyed 'Dark'. Took me a while to figure out who was who when they are younger / older.
Confusing at times, but a really good series. I've just started the 3rd season.

It was one hell of a harrowing watch! Despite that I thought it was a good watch too. Aside from the supernatural bits, it was a pretty accurate depiction of what black Americans experienced when they moved to all white Compton. Due to white flight, Compton ended up being mainly black.
I watched a weird one last week. You may have seen it, but if not I think you might like it. It's called Brand New Cherry Flavour (or flavor!) Supernatural, a few zombies, well acted and highly improbable. I loved it!
I started watching 2 episodes of the new David E. Kelly series on Amazon last night. I usually enjoy anything that he does. It's called Nine Perfect Strangers and stars Nicole Kidman. The final episode isn't on until Wednesday, so I'll watch 5 episodes by Tuesday and catch the final on Wed.
Dark was a great series. Like you it helped me immensely when I figured out who was who in the different time periods.
