This stems from a debate in Congress 2 days ago, with Rand Paul attempting to discredit Dr Fauci and almost trying to say he was responsible for creating the pandemic.

If you follow the story which is developing Fauci knew and signed off funding for Wuhan in 2014-17 this research was to allow Bat Viruses to cross to humans, so-called chain of function.

Fauci's is dancing on a pin to separate himself from it.

Then of course we wonder what Saint Obama knew.

Your posts in this thread contain the seeds of yet another of your defences of Trump's handling of the virus crisis when he was President. I don't think that anyone would accuse DR of being a conspiracy theorist, or me for that matter, but as I said at the time, this article does give you food for thought.The source is credible, founded in 1945 by former Manhattan Project scientists.

Thanks for the link though. It was a long read, but I ploughed through it at a snail's pace and learned quite a lot. I was interested to read that the US National Institutes for Health & the National Institute of Allergies & Infectious Diseases funded the Wuhan lab. for 5 years until May 2019. That, and the conflict of interest of the two virologists who vigorously denied that the virus could have escaped, couldn't help but give me pause for thought. Coupled with the way the virus evolved to be able to infect humans, it's conceivable that it didn't evolve naturally. Food for thought!

Rand Paul is a histrionic bit player on the political stage. I believe we should keep politics out of this and listen to members of the scientific and medical community.... preferably those who have no affiliation with any government, anywhere.

Trump's comments were merely repeating the latest conspiracy theory or opinion piece, probably as distraction from his own abject handling of the pandemic, in any event wouldn't worry about Trump on that score, he is far too busy trying to overturn the 2020 election and continue conning more donations from the MAGAMUGS.

Why bother with someone's twitter feed, when the debate is available, I would imagine that most are aware who Dr Fauci is, but let's introduce Rand Paul, an opportunist scum bag, Trumpist, at one time covid denier, anti vaccine, anti lockdown, anti covid support package, all he has done is to take known facts, represent the narrative in support of his own allegations, note proof or evidence not required.

Certainly I like many others would like to know the origins of this virus, but wild accusatory allegations against an individual are hardly likely to produce real results.

I simply make the point that the divisive one pointed out the "chaina link" to the world, if he had followed it through at the time China might not have been able to clear up its tracks so well.


The "Saint Obama" link is clear as he was in charge at the time this was going on, has remained remarkably quiet and not come forward to detail the link under his watch with the Wuhan Lab.

It appears the orange mist is descending on yet another thread even one where the source of the biggest threat to us all in a generation is possibly a Chinese Lab that received US funding to research the very thing that has killed millions.

One day, the law of averages would suggest that Said will finally get lucky with one of their claims. It seems Trump may have hit pay dirt with one of his, as there does seem to be a possible or perhaps probable degree of substance to what he claimed. Already he's been proven correct in questioning the Chinese Government's account of the virus origin (and by implication, I suppose, the scientific community's (inclusive of the WHO) broad and biased acceptance of that Chinese Government account.)

As to Trump repeating the "Chaina Virus" claims, he is one of the few who actually saw the US intelligence to support his claim.

He was wrong to blurt it out in his inimitable style but removing the dislike of him from the equation he at least saw that intelligence and Fauci squirming like a stuck pig is at the least a pointer to what MAY have happened.
