Yet again you come up with your fairy tales. You conveniently forget that VED stands for Vehicle Emissions Duty and is priced accordingly to the emissions figures of vehicles.
The higher the emissions, the higher the duty and you've made the mistake of detailing your handsome contributions in the past....
In other words your excuses just don't wash and even more so when you could, instead, acquire one of the many excellent electric commercial vehicles available. There are also financial incentives to do so.
As for the world being "worse off without your vehicles", do you seriously think it would make one iota of difference?

Isn't the vehicle that PnP uses, a public services owned vehicle? i.e. owned by the Government? In which case, if the government were truly serious about pollution, would they not ban all their polluting vehicles?
Even if we were to ban all vehicles and went back to using the horse and cart - it would have no effect whatever on the World scale.

We won’t need to ban them. The worlds oil supply will most likely be completely depleted within the next 30 years. The automotive industry is well aware of this, hence the surge in electrical and other alternative sources of vehicle propulsion.
I think it’s safe to say we’ve moved on from horses and carts as a viable solution.

What on earth is a public services owned vehicle that can be used by those in business?
As for your second paragraph, if you think that banning 32M plus cars, around half-a-million trucks and smaller commercial vans wouldn't have any effect whatever on the world scale (despite catalyst converters, cleaner engines etc), then you are as deluded as your cyclist friend.
Perhaps you should make more seriously productive use of your Google "skills" and come up with links such as:

A) You're half wrong and half right. No, VED stands for Vehicle Excise Duty, but yes it's based on a vehicles emission. Hence electric cars pay no VED, whereas petrol/diesel cars do.
B) I could buy/lease a couple of electric works vehicles tomorrow, but like I've said before the figures don't stack up. We'd have to raise our prices substantially, losing our competitive edge on prices. Maybe when the competition goes electric and puts up their prices, I'll be able to reconsider. Until then it's business as usual.
C) Yes, it would make a difference. Consider the hundreds of tons of #non-renewable CO2, which our business has enabled people to avoid emitting over the years. These same people would otherwise have continued adding to the greenhouse effect by burning fossil-fuels like gas and coal.

A) It's based purely on emissions (Excise is the fact it's collected by the DVLA) but, contrary to your belief, cars don't pay tax. The owners, however, do.
Also contrary to your belief, VED is paid on some electric vehicles:
"EVs benefit financially, because of their minimised, or absent, CO2 emissions. Battery-powered Electric Vehicles (BEVs) are exempt because they’re zero-emissions.
"Plug-in Hybrids (PHEVs) pay a reduced VED. PHEVs worth £40,000+ pay an annual supplement (for the five years from the second time it's taxed)."
B) You keep coming up with the same old argument. Either you truly believe in fighting climate change or only support it (as we all suspect) only if it suits your purpose. So get buying electric commercial vehicles for your business or continue to be regarded as a hypocrite masquerading as a much older version of Greta Thunberg. She's equally irritating.
C) You cannot prove in any way how much non-renewable CO2 your business might have saved - it would be pure conjecture.

I can multiply the total number of stoves installed, by the average annual CO2 yield that the gasfire of a typical three bed semi produces.....Whilst the answer can never be 100% accurate, it's certainly going to be in the ballpark

After you’ve installed your smoky stoves, you have no control over what then gets burned on those stoves, any attempt to evaluate emissions is pure guess work.

So two simple questions;
which produces the most Co2 to give the same measured heat output?
Which produces the most pollution.

Our stoves are anything but smoky.....They are so non-smoky that every single one is Govt certified for use in all smokeless zones. You'll see way more smoke from a VW's tailpipe!
Our customers are responsible people, who want to do their bit for the environment, whilst also saving money on expensive gas bills. I don't believe they include the sort of person who would ever use non-FSC logs.

You need your eyesight testing.
Whether or not your customers are responsible people is, as always with anything you claim, pure conjecture.

Imo, when it comes to being responsible/green credentials, the simple fact that they want rid of a fossil-fuel (gas) appliance speaks for itself.

You really have a thing about VW, I run a VW Golf TDI and it doesn’t smoke, you prattle on about some dodges to get a lower emissions rating, however on the real world, my car is well inside it’s designed and rated emissions.
Of course wood burner users are highly principled, dedicated to helping the environment and climate!!!!!!! the fact that one particular stove somewhere close stinks to hell, when the wind is in the right direction,
I only personally know 3 people who have wood burners, 2 have stopped using them due to dust and crap in the house, the other one always reminds me of stepping into a railway station of days gone by.
Before you even mention it all 3 are modern allegedly approved stoves.

When it comes to performance, it's not only about the stove itself, the installation/diameter of liner also plays a significant role. After your friends unsatisfactory experiences, I do wonder who installed/has been looking after them?
We have had no such issues with our installations. Possibly because we use a larger diameter of liner than is commonly fitted by our competitors, which gives a better draw. All our customers also receive five years free aftercare, which includes the regular sweeping, replacement of door seals if required and a full stove valet. If a stove ever became smoky, we'd soon know about it!
