well its becoming clear ,this years going to be a tought one for many!but hey it doesnt have to be the media hyped loss portrayed dismally.get back to what its all about .just love appreciation ,forgiveness,and celebration of all thats light about our lives.a simple meal together with loved ones ,a phone call to those alone ,a random gift to a stranger,the best wrapped pressy a big hug says athousand words.just ahumble thought to all.X

Yes, hope the media portrayal is not going to be so predictable. If anyone is feeling down read about poverty in the 1900's - you will all think you are millionaires.

I was thinking this when there was talk about having to get 1000s of people to (I presume) kill / pluck turkeys, or Christmas is doomed. Or whoever is 'saving Christmas'. Does all that really matter?
I'm not at all bothered about a turkey. As long as my loved ones are fine and fed. Sure, I'm concerned about them not being able to get the essentials, but a turkey ain't one of them.
Happy, healthy and fed is fine. If it means that much, and it is all going to hell in a handbasket, do what we did last year when we were locked down: Christmas in June, with all the trimmings. It was a hoot. The what and when doesn't matter. The 'who' does.
