The pavement alongside the Esplanade opposite Splashworld. There are plenty signs and markings directing cyclists around the front of the car park at the front of Pleasureland to and from the path that leads to the Marine Lake.Name: 1.png

If a footpath is blocked report it on line to Sefton. You'll get a reference number confirming your enquiry and, hopefully, a response.

It's closed because it's currently part of a construction site. The car park is being turned into an adventure golf course and pub.

I like the 'hopefully' bit. Any objections the public make in relation to Sefton ar totally ignored.

That's right, cycling is an all-inclusive activity......Even those of advanced years/with no license, can now speed about everywhere at 25kph with great ease. Muddy towpaths, bumpy kerbs, potholes, farm tracks - no problemo! Must admit I do like look of the all-terrain 'Jorvik Low-Step-Through Electric Mountain Trike' JMT6 (250W) for £2,529.99
    Get it from: jorviktricycles.com

*Top-tip: Going in for an electric bike?
Order a spare battery (take on ride in pannier to double bikes range!).

As it seems that you weren't using your lights at the time of the incident perhaps the construction company might be interested in your details regards the damage you caused to their fence!

    Hmmm.

I've noticed on the Cycle bollards revisited thread that just the other day when seivad asked you about why you were being so coy about identifying your "mysterious electric vehicle" you replied with this:

B) I don't particularly want to be so easily identified, when I'm out and about in my free time.
Although that tallies with your intermittent theme of people off-forum being desperately interested in your life, that doesn't really tally with your post further above, where you're describing the exact electric trike that you're considering purchasing, including a link to the website!

Maybe you didn't actually Like my post #37 on this thread, after all.

It seems that your specific mention of...
    Jorvik Low-Step-Through Electric Mountain Trike' JMT6 (250W) for £2,529.99
...was merely your way of dropping onto the forum that you can spend £2,500 on an electric trike - as though that's some sort of brag? (N.B. I don't think forum users are jealous!)

After recently having bought an electric vehicle, I'm not about to shell out for a 'leccy trike - though it does look like a cool little beastie. Should I decide to go in for a 'leccy bicycle, which sooner-or-later I probably will, it would be of the 2-wheeled mountain-bike variety......I simply suggested the trike as an affordable cheap-to-run solution, for those of advanced years who want carefree CO2-free mobility, but can't/won't pay the ridiculously sky-high prices of 'leccy cars.

So when you said you that you "must admit to liking the look of the" said electric trike that didn't demonstrate your interest in acquiring one?

    I pointed out earlier:

You read that and all you saw was an opportunity to talk about an electric trike you like and also promote it to other people of "advanced years" such as yourself.

A different read or takeaway would be to consider the proportion of accidents involving cyclists, of all ages, that will be to some degree caused by those said cyclists...

Which is a perspective you strangely pride yourself on not having at all.

    I'll add the missing smiley:

    A) Hangabout, I'm not that old that I need electrical assistance to ride a bike! But when the day does come, it's good to know there's a solution to keep me pedalling.

    B) Contrary to the belief of many motorists, figures show that most car v bike 'accidents' are not the fault of the rider.
