Why do you object to any elector passing an opinion on his or her government? A government whose every decision has an effect on our lives, our money, and most importantly right now, our health?
Why do you think only those who contribute to Tory coffers can pass an opinion on our government? If Labour were in power, can only Labour voters criticise?
They are public servants. If any enfranchised person considers them 'rats' or angels sent from God, it's down to the individual. It doesn't matter who the party is in power or where you stand politically, if they run the country they take the brickbats as much as the plaudits.
Again, the fact that you object to any UK citizen objecting to a UK government that just happens to wear the same colours as yourself, that is tribal. I'm pretty sure that if, say, H called the government 'rats', you wouldn't say a word (apart from the drop-down-dead shock of it). Not because she's a citizen, but because she's a Tory.
By all means describe why you think that they are not 'rats', but don't object to a voter having an opinion on their own government.
Eh?!
I myself pass negative opinions on this Government! I myself criticise this Government!
Your claims about me don't make sense.

You and your vindictive, savage mindset about motorists and other four-wheel road users has now got to the stage where you are, it would seem, seriously in need of some form of help.
You, and only you, could make such a statement in a thread about politicians and governments which bears no relationship with the subject under discussion.

This wouldn't be about those dastardly motorists again?!
Ah! But would a Tory cyclist be considered a rat?

I look up 'rat-bike' to find it's a real thing! Drat!
Ok, what about a Labour motorist or perhaps a Remainer motorist... Would they be a rat?

A) Yes it is....I know one or two who ride them.
B) When you fall victim to one, it's cold comfort to know their political leanings.
Regardless the hue, a rat is a rat!

There will be plenty of rat runners if the imbeciles impose their "solution" to accommodate a couple of cyclists who don't use the pavement.

Orwell said "If there is hope, it lies in the proles." Whilst champagne socialists see diversity idealised at university, the common folk experience it first hand in their neighbour hoods.
