It’s well known that 2 men in a bed in innocent comedy is not gay in any way and the most hardened homophobe or the whitest snowflake amongst you have been laughing at the likes of Morecambe and wise from as far back as they go free in the knowledge it just pure innocent and lighthearted. Funny is a funny word it has many connotations one that in a different light can be applied to 2 men in a bed but in instances like this it simply means humorous. You all appear to be grown adults I shouldn’t have to spell this out to you, but for the ones that are purposely obtuse.

You can wheel out names of hundreds of straight men who have killed children or old people or cats and dogs and some odd ones also but generally paedophiles are men and for whatever reason if they kill or interfere with children the prison system lumps them all together and locks them up the same so best that children avoid parks particularly well known trouble spots after dark where children are most at risk from paedophiles than straight men if you can’t adhere to common sense and stretch a point to undermine the obvious then you are past helping.

And yea 2 men in a bed in comedy is historically innocent and comical, pantomime depicts lead male characters as women dressed as men and Maen Dressed as dames, funny is a funny word but this time doesn’t mean queer ( as in odd,peculiar,strange, funny tasting, untoward or gay or any other meaning of this versatile word ). it means funny comical innocent, and no one is kissing each other either.

If you want to start another thread about the misgivings of bible stories I will enjoy learning from those on here about the bible as I know they are going to disagree with me, some out of ignorance without research some just on the bandwagon and the one that just trolls everything I post because they haven’t got a thought of their own and want to take part with the grown up, I nearly said grown up’s then.

Now the funny thing about that saying billyno mates is … I think I first coined it , invented it or said it first. 30 yrs ago As a treasury office representative for the company I used to overlook, count and sign for ALL the cash collections for Blackpool pleasure beach at this Southport site including from everything and everywhere that took cash and including emptying the arcades once a week, the arcade protocol also required a security manager an arcade division manager an arcade worker to run around bringing me buckets of coins to run through the counting machines. Probably still the same protocol as they use today behind the scenes at Blackpool Pleasure Beach
The arcades tech was called William Blackwell and the site operations chief was mark jackson ( later in life mark ran staff/scabs through the picket lines at the dockers strike and became popular with the managers who quickly promoted him and now he deals with most of the recruitment snd staff on the docks. Great guy, great friend ) , and we were great friends often we would finish the arcade empties and play the video games before opening the arcades to the public and during one round of banter I suggested he was lonely of friends as a skit and off the top of my head out of nowhere I remarked ha ha Billy no mates, I had never heard this phrase before as it wasn’t a phrase and we often laughed about the phrase calling him Billy no mates ( he did have mates really but none of us had time for mates we worked all day and half the night and fairground folk will tell you many families split because of this ) but around 6 months later I heard it again on tv I think it was brookside and then it became more popular and as Billy and mark were cheeky scousers I often wondered if someone overheard us and used it .. and it took off . I am saying yes it was me that coined that phrase .

No I kept my job while watching and sometimes helping folk getting caught for fiddling, I used to do spot checks changing operatives,floats tickets and style reading and then with help from security auditing. If they were £5 up or £5 down they would be looked at as fiddling £5 down obvious £5 up and they haven't took it yet or put it back quick.
Strange thing is the security managers girlfriend was taking £70 a day and he didn’t like me much firstly because I knew and stopped it and secondly because I was knocking her off.
Folk we’re getting caught out using counterfeit notes on the rides and operatives were told to take the suspicious notes and let them on the rides then call us, we would appear and check the notes and if counterfeit the culprits would stay on the fast moving rides until the police arrived, £20 notes were being sold in the town for £7 at that time and the most ridiculous fake coin I came across was a fake 2 p collected out of the cash draw of a pusher ( Crompton’s or comptons coin pusher ) I had seen many lead £1 coins but I wondered who would bother to fake a 2p.
I was held in high regard there by the managers far above suspicion and liked by Geoffrey Thompson and the Thompson family owners as they knew I was an honest guy and my Christmas bonuses reflected this and one time when Geoffrey himself bought me a pint in the horseshoe bar at Blackpool pleasure beach he actually remarked how I was right for the job of looking after his money and he was a great boss to all his staff.
I had the run of the Blackpool fair rides shows food all the lot on the house and I took guests including my father and one son snd 2 coaches full of toffee factory workers from Virginia st, hired from my friends at formby coaches and with my cousin driving one of them . Yea I had many friends ha ha as the social and charity committee chairman of leaf Uk but that’s another story for another day . Yea Billy no mates and the 2 p coin is what I’ll call the book .

I am proud of the Uk and minority rights and legislation including disabled employment rights and protective legislation against verbal and physical abuse ( try as I might I still can’t understand why people hate on disabled people , the whole concept escapes me).

What I am not keen on is this advert made for the sole purpose of promoting homosexuality and using what is essentially a children's character taken from a real person, Saint Nicholas who was a Christian bishop who helped the needy. After his death, the legend of his gift-giving grew. Saint Nicholas transformed into the legendary character called Santa Claus, who brings Christmas presents to children around the world and would not be likely to endorse kissing men on tv in an advert. Furthermore this advert wouldn’t be shown in the Uk as it would be unacceptable here and the makers are going around schools AS FOLK ARE HERE teaching children as young as 5 that boys kissing boys is ok, a view that the majority of parents vehemently disagree with and some schools have seen protests especially from the Asian Muslim community who are NOT frightened to stand up for what they believe in, we have all seen this on the news and the vast majority of all races and religions support them .
Using Christian saints and key childrens characters in this way is unreasonable and unacceptable and IF I WAS religious I would call this growing darkness influencing children pure evil, the devils work using the traditions of a Christian bishop saint on a Christian holiday to go against bible scripture is as anti Christian as it could be, the devil will be laughing his upside down cross off and those of you that think it’s ok will be going to meet him ( but I am not religious so it will probably just Fuddle kids heads up and spoil their childhood which is precious enough ).

Every advert,TV show etc does not need a token person of colour or accentuated sexuality to sell bake beans or act in soap operas.
