Bikes have been in use for very local personal transport and leisure, end of they have never at any time been a practical transportation for either goods or people over anything but the shortest distance.
Yet with you the bike and use of is like some sort of Holy Grail, it isn't never has been, never will be, of course transportation will continue to change and evolve, hopefully for the better, the bike will continue more or less as now, but again you would reduce access in towns, cities, indeed everywhere just to accommodate a minority use
Ah, but that was before....In case you hadn't noticed, bikes just got electrified. Nobody needs legs like tree-trunks to cover 50miles with ease nowadays. All that's missing, is the safe infrastructure to ride them on!

Oh I see these electrified bikes come with security, protection against the elements, the ability to transport anything more than one person, so cycling has become easier, thought one of your mantras was the exercise benefit???????

Devices that run on #renewable energy are just that....#renewable devices. Re particulate emissions, that depends entirely on the stove - just as with cars, they vary greatly. Whatever the pros and cons of a stove, they emit nothing several months of the year. Whereas stinky old-school cars do it 365days of the year - time we got shut of 'em, lol!

You have no real case, apart from your own interests, there are many things we need to get rid of and hopefully change and evolution will continue just as it has done for centuries, but how can defend the indefensible?

There are some that have a 'tracker' system as standard, if that's what you want. After-market alarms and trackers are also available at reasonable cost.Even protection from the elements can be had. Electric cargo-bikes exist now, for both private and commercial use, not to mention electric rickshaws!
Btw, all electric bikes can be set to provide as much - or as little - assistance as you require, so exercise as much or as little as the fancy takes you.

Would you also advocate getting rid of stinky old-school vans and motorhomes? Hmm, thought not.

I think I have burned more electric this week on my phone arguing against cycle lanes than I have burned fuel in my car, anyway it was a nice dream for some but the majority and common sense have spoken and this thread was done days ago when it was announced that plans would not go any further and things should return to normal you can say what you want after that .

At end of day, local cyclists will be no worse off than they were before. Whilst as a windfall, further South in the Borough, riders will gain an unexpected upgrade to the Formby Bypass cycle-paths. They could certainly do with it, particularly at junction and roundabouts, where they tend to fade out to nothing - dumping riders into the live traffic!

But you've never actually detailed what "electric" vehicle you own - it could be an electric bicycle for all we know, but you deviously avoid any semblance of providing a clue as to what you have.

In answer to your question, no.
Perhaps you should read this link - you might end up more knowledgeable than you have up to now?

I have never posted 'details' of any vehicles I, or the business own, for obvious reasons. Some have speculated (wrongly), i.e. 'rusty smokey old van/s', etc. Possibly hoping I'll respond with a denial and give the game away, by countering with identifiable details, like makes, models, year, etc. But no, that electric vehicle isn't a bicycle.
