He's right . He could get cleared. Or to be more precise, no action taken.
But then there's more here than legality. Morality, integrity...of which there is none.
In a way I don't want him to go for this. I want him to go for leading the country to disaster in pursuit of his career, for staggering incompetence, for corruption, for installing cronies and defectives to positions of power..
For being by a distance the worst prime minister of my lifetime.

The Labour Party are as much capitalists as the Conservatives are. When you wake up to the present day you will understand that the general population are tools used to generate wealth. To maintain the people's loyalty, a carrot or two is dropped their way now and again. There is nothing more to it!

We live in a capitalist country with a capitalist society, do you seriously think that any party sufficiently far left to take control of everything, would actually get elected.
We all know that the general population create the wealth, that the few actually collect it, you say disparagingly "the great unwashed and a carrot or two" true Tory style, arrogant and ignorant.

The Met and its top officer, Cressida Dick, appear to have no knowledge of English law in relation to certain types of offences that would be dealt with by magistrates' courts.
If such offences are reported six months or more after being committed or is reported and police take no investigation action within six months, then nothing further can be done.
In the case of the "parties", original offenders were all, as far as I can recall, just given modest fines.
For example, see:

Incorrect old bean.
Indeed, it would seem Cressida Dick’s knowledge of English law regarding the Coronavirus Regulations is far superior than yours.
‘Time Limit for Prosecution
Unlike most offences triable only in the Magistrates Court, offences under the Coronavirus Regulations do not need to be prosecuted within 6 months if their commission. S.64A of the Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984, the parent statute under which the regulations were made, extends the time limit for prosecutions to three years from the alleged commission of the offence, or 6 months from the time the prosecutor has knowledge of sufficient evidence to justify a prosecution, whichever is the shorter.’

You really should read what you copy and paste
“extends the time limit for prosecutions to three years from the alleged commission of the offence, or 6 months from the time the prosecutor has knowledge of sufficient evidence to justify a prosecution, whichever is the shorter.”
The shorter you knob .
Listen Stuartli you gonna get trolled whatever you post now so get used to it , get used to someone incorrectly quoting stuff, reading it wrong and not understanding what he copies and pastes while trying to be cocky and tell you stuff wrongly and try to appear as a real person with a brain and not just a crass personality . There used to be a rule about trolls on here .

Reading it wrong lol? The irony Mick, will you never learn?
You really are a thick prick.
Try and engage your minuscule brain before typing anything, might make you look a little less stupid in future.
The Police have only just begun their investigation, so I highly doubt that any evidence has been presented to the prosecution service yet. When it does, that’s when the clock will start ticking for the 6 months you’re referring to.
However, nice to see you’re finally spelling knob correctly. Well done Mick (slowly claps hands).

And anyway, do you two seriously think the Police would launch a criminal investigation if there’s no prospect of it even getting to court?

Not from me I was stuck at home with my terminally ill wife we couldn't even put her in the car in her wheelchair and go for a run (not stopping not meeting anyone just to get her out of the house) we were told by Boris only to go out for shopping and essentials. So please enlighten me as to WHY I should have one iota of support for the liar. Personally I don't give a damn about Johnson the sooner he is joining the queue at the job centre the better. Oh I forgot the rich will want to give him £millions as an advisor and door opener just like Cameron did to line his pockets.

The dolt Liz Truss who is jockeying for position to succeed the current primary dolt, it turns out, travelled to Australia on a PRIVATE jet at a cost of £500,000.

The flights actually took longer than the QANTAS service
At the time of the Climate Change conference.
Words fail me.

Who noticed in the PMQ that , even in this situation, Johnson can't stop lying?
Two in particular
-The claim that Labour wanted to drop Universal Credit- no they don't
-The claim about growth..far from being the leader, we are behind France and Germany, and had the second worst decline in the pandemic
https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid...26315805120272
- Again about the vaccine rollout.
Is it spontaneous, pathological, or does he have them scripted?

If the pending report proves that he and others broke the law then they should all be prosecuted. And I believe that Johnson should resign as PM and step down as an MP.
He made the rules and should have abided by them, if any member of this forum had broken those same rules we would have been prosecuted.
Yes, and I'm a Tory voter.

We can see that society has a problem with its leaders and it is one that has beguiled humankind for centuries, perhaps for ever. King Henry the Eighth had his own way of dealing with errant politicians (and queens) but today we only deal with them by our votes; unless you are North Korean.
Epimenides the Cretan says, 'that all the Cretans are liars,' but Epimenides is himself a Cretan; therefore he is himself a liar. But if he is a liar, what he says is untrue, and consequently, the Cretans are veracious. This well known paradox is easily resolved by saying that Cretans are not liars all the time; nor are politicians
You think misleading the public went out with Henry XIII?? Every notorious event in all years is a cover up don't let anyone tell you differently.
