For a start, unless you have been in a coma for the last 10 years, he is a serial liar sacked from jobs in the past for the lies he peddled.
Why roll out all those spineless Tory Jellyfish to back him until the result of the investigation comes out WHY we ALL know he is a liar.

I think he ( and the Tory party ) think it’s time he left the post. If he just resigns it looks like he has been forced to resign by other parties or just given up because he has caved into pressure that he along with the Conservative party is rubbish at the job. Now is the time for him to leave and take all the bad feeling towards the conservatives about how the covid episodes were handled with him. We all know how ruthless the Conservative party is when a prime minister starts loosing popularity and I think this is the perfect opportunity for them to oust him with a vote of no confidence, the new leader will say stuff was Boris Johnson’s fault, Boris will be remembered more for being let go for partying than failing and the party can move on towards the next election with a more popular character. At one time he was bulletproof but he is tiring and this is a good way out for them, I think he has worked hard, it takes real stamina travelling around the country doing the best he can, avoiding questions and making it up as he goes along knowingly advising people how to take a vaccine so the roll out of it reaches the masses as predicted even tho it was against scientists and makers recommendations. Mistakes have been made and lives lost and no one could have got it right all the time but now I think this enquiry will be seen to be harsh on him and will look like enquiries are fair and the leader of the enquiry is honourable and that the Conservative party are doing “the right thing” he will be ousted and the public will mostly remember that it was for partying, Boris worked hard and is tired now, too tired to deal with a conflict in Ukraine on top of everything. Mr Van tam resigned and quietly slipped away this week did anyone notice, I think the next premier is already waiting in the wings and is priti Patel, I think this was planned a long while ago, hey but I might be wrong … .

It is you who has tunnel vision.
At the risk of being repetitive, politicians come from the general public. They are people like you and me, not a separate race. They live next door, next street, shop at Tesco. Do you think that some spell is cast on a person once elected?
I am one of the masses (I wash frequently) but I knew a politician once and he was a nice chap; never told lies.

How many bloody times? It’s losing.
For example, you’re a loser.

I know I promised to not investigate, but I can't avoid it now...even if it means investigating events in the past ( what a curious comment that was?)

You’re right. The levels of hypocrisy we’re seeing from Johnson are astounding. Won’t be long now, but I must admit to quite enjoying watching the tories tear themselves apart.

Forget whether or not it was a "party.
Gatherings of all kinds, unless essential.
Birthday parties are not essential.
Forget "they all worked hard"..so did many people at that time, with the additional issue they risked their lives. No one organised parties for them, nor did they.
All this stuff is the politicians trying to eat up time in media interviews to minimise being asked about the real point.
This stuff is insulting.

Underneath the faux outrage I wonder who gives a toss about workers from inside being outside, wine or not.
Not my idea of a Party.
The reality of work going on despite personal tragedy seems to
Pass people by.
Still it won't be long now then we can get back to the real stuff, if Boris is cleared the madness will carry on as he is the target, Partygate is just a vehicle.

You seriously think he’s going to get cleared lol?
I’ve been an essential worker throughout the pandemic, managing to get through each day without a cheese and wine gathering every night. Why should this idiot be any different?
The rules were for everyone.
