Voting is this Thursday, May 5th, in the local elections for Councillors in all Southport wards.

Any chance of getting hold of some manifestos, or asking the candidates to post on here what they are standing for? We have only had leaflets from the Tories, who seem to have the one policy of stopping cycle lanes!!

Good point, decent reporting would make a nice change for this site. As for the Tories, you cannot expect them to actually have any policies. That would require thought, effort and talking to their constituents.

Plenty delivered in Norwood Ward by the parties and the Tories have done several in the earlier part of the year.
