I really do think you need professional help. Your postings always show a large amount of agro. I don’t know how old you are but you seem very immature….just calm down. The thread really isn’t that important but you really get upset. Just chill and try and enjoy life?

Not according to the o/p. They say it's closing 'due to the cost-of-living increase'....and you need look no further than BREXIT for the origins of that - duh!

I don’t intend to interact with someone who has shown many times they don’t understand logic and feel the need to be insulting.

Could we have a tad of consideration for people who find four minutes quite a walk.
I have no problem but some do.
On the fine edge that businesses operate these days a ten to fifteen percent drop can put them out of business.
I can't for the life of me understand why we impose cycle lanes that clearly remain mostly unused in our struggling town centre.
I cycle there no problem with or without them and rarely see them used.
As a real cyclist please don't associate me with these dogmatic comments.

Thanks for your post local. My original post was not put on to attract abuse. I thought it was a reasonable question. Nice to see someone has a calm balanced opinion?

Protected cycle routes are essential, if we want more people to take the bike into town and leave the car on the drive. Not only reducing congestion and freeing-up parking spaces, but improving air quality in town and saving on CO2 emissions.
N.B. Not everyone is as confident in traffic as you or I. Take a Mum and young kids for instance, who would love to ride their bikes to the shops, but fear being hit by a huge bus or some idiot boy racer.

Gosh, listen to you all bickering with each other over a point that’s not related to the article. It clearly states that this is a costs issue and not a lack of custom. But you crack on.
I’m sorry that Reuters is being forced to close. I hope the owners and staff can find suitable alternative employment.
If our town centre businesses are going to survive, we the punters need to help them by actually going into town and giving them our business. Times are hard for everyone at the moment but we can all do our bit to help. Come on, get behind them and stop whinging about a few lost parking spaces and using that as an excuse …. It’s futile.
