Another (alleged) Sex Offender MP.
Seems there is another sex offending MP among the ranks in the Commons.
A certain MP has been told he cannot be present on the Parliamentary Estate until further notice following his arrest on suspicion of indecent assault, sexual assault, rape, abuse of position of trust and misconduct in a public office.
Bit more serious than tractor porn.
Anyway, looks like there will be a by-election soon.
At this rate it will be quicker to name the male MPs that aren't sex offenders.

Apparently these alleged offences took place between 2002 and 2009 (I'm not condoning them in any way), so it's not having quite the same impact as it might.

I wouldn't imagine you'd condone them for a second, Stu.
I know historical sex offences don't seem to have the same impact, apart from Jimmy Savile, Gary Glitter, Rolf Harris (below), etc, but it's the top story on News at 10 and the news channels.
It sounds pretty horrific. Perhaps more so when the victim(s) have had to live with this for years before finding the courage to come forward. A brave man or woman.

It's been a top story for much of the day, but no doubt it won't be too difficult to work out who the individual concerned proves to be over the coming days.
Too many people in positions of power, sadly, seem to think it gives them the right to behave entirely differently from others.

I still think the majority on all sides are there for the right reasons.

A Google search gives a website 'ontrend.news' which has 2 names, one the pictures man on Toodles post but mainly featuring another man who looks similar, 50's overweight, greying hair, glasses.

I think I would rather have the man processed correctly than see him before time.

So do I.
Unfortunately it seems there's a fairly large percentage who assume that their power allows them to treat people as they wish. Including sexual harassment and worse.
There are some who see themselves as decent, upstanding MPs. Take the friend of Rolf Harris, above, who advocates castration for rapists.
Of course, it should be stated that whoever it is remains innocent until proven guilty.

According to several media sources, the accused is a Tory MP in his 50s, who was among the 2001 intake. There are only a few:
Boris Johnson
Jonathan Djangoly
Bill Wiggin
Mark Francois
Andrew Rosindell
Richard Bacon
I imagine all but one will be in the Commons today. As Michael Fabri**** said, I am expecting a strong turnout of Conservative MPs at Prime Minister's Questions today.
Not only to demonstrate their strong support for #Boris (!!). BUT also to prove they are NOT the one told by the Chief Whip to stay at home.
Odd thing to joke about, but I think we all know Frabricant is an odd man.

One of those was mysteriously absent from parliament for most of 2021 whilst very similar sounding charges were investigated.
Another claimed £125k in second home expenses, despite already living in his London constituency. He also is a "Convervative Friends of Russia" spokesmen and has stated that rapists should be castrated. Let's hope his impeccable reputation isn't tarnshed by this.

I thought that the Tory MP's all turned out and crammed in surrounding Bojo at PM's Questions to try a spot Angela Rayner flashing her Draws.
