Lay off the drink/drugs you daft old c*nt. You obviously can’t handle them. Some people are funny when they’re inebriated or stoned. In your case it just makes you an even bigger arseh0le than your usual self.

You wouldn't know but a lot of the less polluting better cars come with them fitted.
The chances of me riding round like a thickwit with one screwed to my helmet are zero.
See a helmet-mounted camera and you know it's an idiot who hasn't yet worked out that the biggest risk to their safety is themselves.

Which neatly navigates around the question, of whether you have a dashcam yourself...

I don’t drink or smoke and you are the one always advocating for the legalisation of drugs so you can drive around in your delivery van stoned, who do you drive for is it ASDA , if not who cos you need to be tested before you go out on the road, so who do you drive for ??.

I think you can work out for yourself that my car came with one fitted but it's certainly not fitted to my head like a thick wit.
That reminds me have you and the Moke signed up to any adult learning classes yet?

Screwing a camera isn't a bright idea, you could ask Michael Schumacher but he probably wouldn't be able to understand now.

Chest-mounted seems to work best, judging by the virtual 'rides' I've viewed. This allows the rider to move their head about, without spoiling the video. Whilst a rear-facing camera, is ideal for catching those dangerous (less than 1.5m clearance) close-passers in the act.

When you buy a new motorcycle helmet and read the paperwork that comes with it there’s a paragraph about how you should not even put stickers on them or it will render them unsafe, I should think it would be the same with a cycle helmet and I am certain screwing anything into them would obviously make them brittle and not fit for purpose.
Some people if they don’t like the question and the predictable obvious answer say “ we may never know “ and that neatly navigates around an answer that it’s best for drivers to have dash cameras …. Safely positioned on the dashboard .

Most cyclists are people who perhaps cannot drive, or afford to, but also need to have mobility. The lycra element of cyclists, and some do ride carelessly, are noticeable because they are very much in the minority.
A similar analysis could be applied to motorists, some bad most good.
Live and let live, literally.

"We may never know"
Michael Schumacher found out the hard way.
We do know nowadays as products are tested before being allowed to go on sale.

Last time I bought motorbike helmets new was 20 yrs ago and they must have been tested as they had/have the kite mark on them, the literature with them said don’t even put a sticker on them as the glue would do something negative to the stuff they are made of and weaken them somehow, and you don’t need to have tested a plastic or resin toy bike helmet to know that screwing into them won’t be good for them and I’ll bet the literature that you get with them says as much just to cover the companies that make them test them and kite mark them. How people can screw into them, stick mounts to them or clamp things onto them thinking it will be ok … we may never know ( or secretly we may know that they are idiots ).

You could have something there....There may be a carry-over into modern times, of that quaint notion from back in the day, when only the most well-heeled had cars. A notion which required that the 'poor' person on a bike should show deference to his/her superior with a car, by getting out of the way. Any rider who did not, would be considered an 'ignorant pleb upstart' and summarily barged past by 'His Lordship' as if they didn't exist.
