Labour pulled their candidate, Azhar Ali, because he was recorded saying Israel deliberately relaxed security after warnings of an imminent threat. He most definitely doesn't support Israel.

Galloway is an antisemitic rabble rouser. He never gets re-elected because as a politician he's a self serving prick who does nothing for the constituency. He's very good at campaigning in Muslim areas. But if it hadn't been for the actions of 7/10, he probably wouldn't have won.

But as I said, all he had to do was run around shouting 'Gaza!' and he was assured of victory. He doesn't want to do the actual work of representing the people of Rochdale. And I can almost guarantee that after grandstanding in the Commons a few times, he won't be elected there again.

Yes, I was having this same discussion just the other day after he was voted in. If other regions in the UK follow this lead then there could, with luck, be a complete change around in the country. Or at the very least - some interesting debates in Parliament.
