    Princess of Wales

So it turns out that the poor woman has cancer. No matter how privileged life is that diagnosis is a kick in the teeth.

Sadly, the speculation that ran rampant recently, merely sought to expose just how pathetic a significant number of people really are when given an Internet connection.

I fear for the future - not because of war or climate change - I am worried because a large amount of the population seem unable to function without a device in their hand.

The Nation's Darling is suffering a temporary set back, is all. Katie is a young healthy woman and will soon return to charm everyone.
    again.

Speculation promoters - you can blame that on the wokes again - they see justice under a different light to the normal people and appear to get away with it too.

Since few youngsters can now perform mental arithmetic, due to calculators, electronic communication devices have had a similar impact on entertainment. Regrettably, well-meaning parents gave in to peer pressure and gave their kids electronic communication devices in an attempt to keep up with the times. Upon returning from school, parents ought to seize their children's beloved electronic devices and force them to engage in traditional forms of entertainment.

To be fair, Kensington Palace hardly helped themselves with the speculation. Sending out photoshopped 'official' photos that were easily spotted, and grainy video that looked like it was filmed on a phone from 2004, did nothing but add fuel to the fire of curiosity about Catherine's whereabouts.

Since the queen died, they've hardly covered themselves in glory, from family feuds, William's apparent infidelity, hissy fits over pens to the bit-on-the-side becoming queen. The media has long memories. Perhaps this latest incident might wake up their PR department to the power of social media, which isn't going away any time soon. The 'don't explain, don't complain' policy goes baps up when dodgy pics are released by the Palace themselves.

Having said that, as much as I personally have no time for them, they are human, and like every family they've been touched by this most terrible of diseases. I wish her well and hope she recovers completely. She's got a much better chance than most NHS patients.

My family members who are Doctors tell us to use the NHS for Cancer care.

We have as many had a few members hit by Cancer and the enormous reach of the NHS wins.

Our local private hospital relies on the NHS.

The NHS saved my sister's life twice, and my father's when suffering from cancer. I have nothing but admiration for Christies and other dedicated centres.

But let's not pretend we are a wonderfully egalitarian society. She will have been seen initially faster than anyone going to an NHS GP. Her aftercare will be the best money can buy.

Good luck to her with that, I hope she recovers fully. But we aren't all equal. Even with the full might of the NHS behind us. That's life.

.....and the leading consultant she was being treated by initially will have recommended a leading consultant not just a referral to the local hospital.

Lets then be frank about it and say the NHS has since its formation supported a two tier health service.

Put your hand deeply in your pocket and a Consultant will relieve you of it very quickly.

Doctors work ever shorter hours and Dentists chase the "Turkey Teeth" market with their Denplans.

That won't change anytime soon under any government.

My close friend has suffered from admin cock ups neglecting her treatment for cancer earlier diagnosis. This is not a rare event communication in the nhs between those concerned is common.
Chasing up results of tests and appointments normal.

The care during the op was excellent now after care is failing.
    I am so upset.

The family wish they had gone private.

The NHS is breaking up - there appears to be little communication between numerous agencies and each department is a conduit for American drugs.

They are still not learning all week we've been fed the line that Charles will attend church on Sunday but will sit away from the other members of the family to protest his health, now we are being fed pictures of him shaking hands and talking to all and sundry.
