I'll tell you what has been good about this thread - the chance to highlight and discuss 'the bleeding obvious' without being branded a raving racist bigot.
It's also been conducted in a respectful manner - no silly insults slung.

Everyone entering or leaving the UK by air is logged. Everyone entering or leaving by boat is logged. There are agencies in the UK who hold these records. No-one on the Kent coast has witnessed any so called illegal boats - crossing the Channel is like crossing the M6 on a bike.
There are no illegals - they are being brought in by air.
All the hoo-hah by the government is just that! Their solution to a fantasy is just to get more votes. The UK is full! No more immigrants would get far more votes than anything else. The UK is short of army personnel - put them all on conscription immediately.
Deranged.
Quite deranged.
I'm trying to work out which is the most batshit crazy part of the post, but it is all pure gold lunacy.

I don't think it's about race. I have no problem with anyone of any race. It's about people who are deserving of a second chance in life being given that opportunity.
And those who aren't deserving getting that opportunity anyway, like half-face in the OP.
Our immigration laws are curious, to say the least. I was told recently that a Ukrainian family I know has to leave this country in a few years. The mother has a decent job, found a flat to live in, her kids go to school here. She's rebuilt a life after coming here under terrible circumstances. She contributes. She's happy here. But her asylum has limits, apparently.
Very odd.

You obviously disagree - can you give a better or more logical explanation? Would you attempt to cross the channel in a rubber dinghy? How would you do that without the public witnessing you doing so? How would you deal with the strong currents and the large volume of other shipping vessels without having any sea faring knowledge? I would be interested to know.
Why are the traffickers not arrested - the authorities manage to arrest ISIS terrorists fast enough - why not the traffickers?

In order to help the poor Ukrainians flee the Russians our caring Government contrary to Government Policy permitted Ukrainian refugees to come here at no expense to the taxpayer on a temporary basis as they had to have a sponsor. If we don't get Ukraine to capitulate soon we may have to send them to Rwanda.
Who was PM at the time?

Just to clarify are you saying that they don't cross in small boats?
