That is what a valued member at Southportnews questioned after receiving the leaflet pictured below at the weekend.
There is no mention of Southport at all in the leaflet.

I can't see what's unusual about the Labour leaflet.
Yesterday's report in the Sunday Times from the poll by Survation predicted Southport would fall to Labour anyway. I'd be surprised, but pleasantly.

- True. Standard fare — vague platitudes — as candidate leaflets do.
Is it Damien Moore versus Patrick Hurley
this time around?
- The poll alluded to noted that it was largely Reform candidates improved ranking that accounted for the reduction in Conservative seats as compared with previous MRP [Multilevel regression and poststratification] compared with two previous polls by Survation:
• Reform UK surge across the country, coming second in 7 seats
• Reform UK standing aside would increase Conservative seat haul by more than 50%

Ha!Ha! "Let's all move to the lovely Conservative town of Southport" So people all move in because it is better in Southport than where they came from - and then try all they can to make it like the place they have moved from. That is the local riddle - can anyone explain it?
