Firstly the bike was going the wrong way to use the road as he would have been on the wrong side for the direction he was travelling and be going against the flow of traffic.
And he MUST have been planning to use his stupid bicycle as a weapon when called out as he knew it would not fit between the man and the van because he had already tried.
The van opposite and probably everyone parks wheels on the pavement there cos the road is narrow, even parked barely on the pavement the cars struggled to get past
And suggesting that the dpd driver parks around the corner is just scratting using the usual nonesense, what if someone is delivering a fridge or washing machine. And the cyclist had not gone to the shop he came straight back at the van driver .
Anyway instant justice was served and a low mentality showed itself in 3 ways.
And once again there is no justification for simple heads or room for bike lanes .

Lol...If it was a fridge or washing machine in that package, it must have been intended for a dolls house!

Again trying to sidetrack, I said “what IF someone is delivering a fridge or a washing machine” not that small package was a fridge or a washing machine.
And the bike came STRAIGHT BACK INSTANTLY at the driver on the attack seconds after he went out of shot, you can see this because there was no cut in the clip and by the cars waiting to overtake that would have found it more difficult if the van was fully stopped legally on the road.
It might have been different if a lion was chasing him or a sudden terrorist attack was imminent or if they were underwater or any other distraction you can dream up away from the facts but it still won’t wash.. it never does

Imo, delivery driver would have done better to park nearby on a side-road and carried that small package by hand to the house.
2) Bike not having regard for users of pavement, i.e. riding too fast when approaching delivery driver.
3) Just how long was the delivery driver there? How come he was still messing about with paperwork, when the bike had gone to its destination (a local shop?) and subsequently returned? Doesn't quite add-up imo, so I reckon the whole thing could well have been staged for the cameras.
3) Where's the safe bike infra on that road? Non-existent!
Exactly where is the side street that the DPD driver should have parked in? More absolute make believe from you.

In a built-up area like that, there's bound to be side-streets about....Such as where the occupants of that house and their neighbours park their cars. Obviously not on-road by their front doors, due to double yellow lines.

If he did come 'straight back instantly', that lends further credence to it being staged for the cameras - note not one, but three cameras all aimed perfectly to capture the action.

It’s obvious that he did come back INSTANTLY that’s indisputable anyone can see that from the cars moving and the people. And no it’s probably not staged risking a dpd van and smashing the fool rider to the ground it’s just another stupid idiot funny cyclist that was caught on cameras that covered the whole of the front of the property.
Not staged, no weights and measures, no lions or tigers, not underwater just a lower mentality cyclist that IMMEDIATLY returns, rides fast at a gap he can’t get through to frighten the driver then realises that won’t go well then changes his little mind and comes an absolute cropper.
And I think his actions were indefensible and you would have to have the same low intelligence to try …. Oh wait .

Disagree...Fyi I wasn't born yesterday, mate.
Look again and you'll see the DPD driver conveniently cushions the riders fall.

And if you look again he didn’t cushion his fall as he smashed his left shoulder on the gate post, your dreamery and bull once again shines through but as always fails as trying to justify a wrong un like this is Sad at best. Maybe you should call the Sanford police that posted this and tell them they are staging stuff in cahoots with DPD.

Officers are appealing for information after a cyclist was seen to cause a minor injury to themselves after cycling on the pavement.
I don’t think you were born yesterday, I think you came down the last time it rained this morning

If he'd properly 'smashed his shoulder', they could have picked him up at A & E, or at very least got his name and address from A & E if he'd been discharged......Nobody deliberately rides into something like that, unless they're as blind as a bat - it's all staged for those perfectly-placed three cameras, mate!
