Another cyclist ignoring the rules
Be prepared for shocking footage, but this is what happens when you don't stop at a junction and check it's safe to cross.
Exactly the same can happen if you ignore a red light and a motor vehicle has right of way.

But our resident cycling imbecile will blame the driver again.

When he checked if there was anything coming his view may have been obscured by the trees.

If his view was obscured, then surely he should have slowed down and stopped. You don't just ride out from a junction with an "obscured" view!!
Your comment is actually pathetic!

The cycling imbecile can't even make a serious comment denouncing the cyclist, so he has to attempt humour to deflect blame away from the rider.
Cyclists need to be able to be identified!

Nonsense, pure unsubstantiated motorist propaganda....Where did you pluck that figure silly from - thin air?
Fyi, virtually every sports-riders you see, is insured for third-party. How do I know that? Because any cycling club will insist on a person having insurance, before they'll allow that person to ride with them. This for simple reason that these bikes cost a lot of money and other riders and their bikes can be hurt/damaged, should one of their number ever cause a crash in the bunch.

7.61 million cyclist in the UK in 2022, I doubt if 10% have insurance. Why don't you do a stop and ask all the cyclists when you're sat at Preston New Road lights counting the 100's of cars that go trough on red every hour.
